@Ramb05
Provided that the mounting tabs on the panel didn’t bend, you might be able to just remove the joystick, unscrew the top plate and try to straighten it, or at worst you could just buy a replacement top plate. I think that Focus Attack sells the plate separately. With the joystick removed, it would be a good time to inspect the mounting tabs to make sure that they didn’t bend in the process, otherwise it will be difficult to line up the screws again.
Once you replace/straighten the plate, you should be good to go… Just make sure you get that Link once they become available again.
I’m close to finished with my first big modding project (PS360+ installed to a dead TE w/vinyl wrapped art) and I’m a bit stuck. I was planning on mounting the PS360 to the underside with the screenprinted side facing out because I feel it looks cleaner that way, but space seems limited there between the plastic and the bottom panel. Probably a dumb question, but will the board short out or anything like that if any solder points touch the metal bottom panel? Or am I being overly cautious?
Any differences between the balltop Crown sticks and the normal 303s mechanically? Anyone know if one will fit into a Saulabi case without issue?

I want to install a Rollie Flash 1 into a PS3 MLG TE Stick with all stock parts. Where can I get the five volts needed to power the Rollie Flash?
(I do know how to solder.)
Sorry to keep bothering you guys but one last thing, whats the difference between the full panel template and the regular template? The regular template is rounded while the full panel is square

Use the regular panel template if your TE has a frame on top like the Tekken Tag TE. Use the full panel template if it doesn’t, like the MLG TE.
(Regular = smaller with rounded corners.)
You may want to create a barrier between solder points and electrically conductive materials (metal) that may connect 2 of the points (a strip of electrical tape should work fine).
@Spitfire_Riggz Of course, even if your stick has the bezel as deBoru mentioned, i believe that you can still use a full panel template/plexi as long as you remove the bezel before installing it. The turbo panel cutout, combined with the installation of the buttons through the plexi, artwork, and metal panel should keep the metal panel in place. Anyone - please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong on this.

Yes that is correct. Every TE can use the Full panel because the frame is an optional piece. Also, if you have a TE that did not come with a frame on top, you can purchase them on the madcatz website.
I’m pretty new to modding/building arcade sticks, I have done a couple but I’m wanting to make a stick or hitbox with LEDs using a wired 360 pad. I don’t want the LED’s to be on the buttons, just around the case. I’m no electronics expert but I know you won’t be able to just link a load of LED’s up to the PCB. Does anyone know what the maximum number of LED’s that can be linked up to the PCB? Also I’ve seen people link them to the rumble pad. Does anyone know how to do these please?

I’m no expert, but I think that most hobby shops sell LED kits that can just run on AA batteries. With that solution you could switch on/off the lights independently from the stick itself. Although that solution is really only good in a situation where you want the case to light up and not the buttons.
@deBoru - I thought so, but thanks for validating it for me.
Question, just picked up a used Mad Catz Brawl Stick at a local “Play-n-trade” When I plug it into my pc, it recognizes it by name but wont let me use it, says there are no drivers found… After researching mad catz website it said to goto msoft and download their universal 360 controller driver, which did not work… My TE fight stick was detected just fine…
any ideas? this stick works in the xbox!
Thanks for the tip! I was thinking of doing that, but just ended up sacrificing personal flair for making sure my board will be safe and mounted it the other way. I’ll post some pics in the new stick thread soon! I’m pretty proud of it!
Fixed it, just incase anyone else is wondering you need to do this:
1.Right click on Computer
2.Go to Properties
3.Click on Device Manager
4.Right click on the controller (possibly titled Unidentified Device)
5.Go to Properties
6.Go to the Driver tab
7.Click on "Update Driver"
8.Browse my computer for driver software
9.IMPORTANT -> "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
10. Choose -> Microsoft Common Controller for Window Class
11.Then choose -> "Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows"
12. Then an Update Driver Warning will appear
13.Click Yes to install anyways

@Geebz616 - Glad everything worked out for you! Can’t wait to see your work, I’ll keep an eye out for it!
Any VCC point should be fine. Just tap the usb 5v.
Thanks again fellas so its called a bezel, cool!

I can’t seem to find a conclusive answer on my specific situation, so I figured I’d ask here. I’ve had a Madcatz TE R2 for X360 for a couple of years but have never used it with my PC. Figuring I wanted to try out GGXX#R, I plugged it in and lo and behold all the drivers installed and then I was prompted to download more off of the Microsoft website. With that all done, I booted up GGXX from Dreamwing (which I was told was a legitimate, legal ROM, mind you) and tried to use my arcade stick with it. Unfortunately, it didn’t read it at all and didn’t want to cooperate. So I tried Joy2Key and it seemingly couldn’t pick up my stick inputs at all, meaning it must be some other problem.
I’m on Windows 7, 64-Bit for some additional information. Any help or personal experiences with GGXX#R on PC + a 360 stick?
Open up Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Your Stick (what ever its named on Screen) > Right Click > Game Controller Settings > Pick your device from the drop list and click on Properties.
You should get a window similar to this, this stick just happen to have a Chimp installed.

Confirm the stick is working. If not, follow the following
Yeah, I just kinda wanted to run it off the xbox power thou so when I plugged it in, it lights up
