3mm

Okay, I have an issue. I recently ordered a Neutrik RJ-45 port to install into my Foehammer DIY stick, but there isn’t really a way to fit it through the 24mm hole. Should I just up and drill the hole bigger, or is there a way to detach the port?

Two options:

1 - Spend a lot of time & effort carefully enlarging the existing hole

2 - Get an RJ45 jack that will fit in a standard 24mm hole, such as the Neutrik Cat6 or Switchcraft RJ45

I need help quick.

I need 8x Uila budget LED inserts + 8x Seimitsu clear screw ins 30mm before August 20th. Which place is the cheapest for Canadians? Paradise has $15 shipping but I’m worried it would take too long to get to Ontario. Focus attack is rather pricey, any other alternatives? Canada Joystick doesn’t have Uila or any LED parts.

Never shopped at Paradise but Focus Attack has never taken more than 5 business days to ship to me in Ontario, and that’s using the cheapest shipping. Might be your best bet unless someone can vouch for Paradise’s speed.

hi guys, i have sanwa obsf 30’s in my stick and
i would like to replace them with il convex competitions.
the il buttons are 28.5mm and sanwas are 30mm
do i need to fix anything in order to replace the sanwas?
do i just take out the buttons and drop in the competitions?
cheers.

what kind of stick are you doing this in? most sticks with japanese parts can’t have IL buttons because they are a lot longer.

doing this to my arcade in a box stick
it has a il stick in it already, just want to change the buttons now

ya, just drop in the competition buttons in. tighten them real good so they don’t move around while you play.

ok, thanks alot

So for the Uila Budgets that I’m going to install in my Madcatz SE stick I simply solder the ground wire to the top row and the other wire to the bottom row for each button respectively? I just want them to turn on when pressed. If it results in the LEDs turning OFF when button is pressed: I’ll be fine with that as well.

Anyone know if you can pad hack a red octane wired guitar controller for xbox 360. Just found one at the thrift store for 3 dollars and haven’t made it home yet to open it up.

i don’t think it has enough buttons, i think it only has 5…

For the pad players and people experienced with adapters/input lag overall. Which adapters (ps2/ps3/360) would you recommend getting, as far as reliability and not adding lag goes.

I was checking these two:

Everything you need is in this thread, with the bulk of the useful stuff in the first post:

Indeed, so it’ll be no good for the xbox. I was also thinking I could use it for a controller board for a bartop MAME cabinet I’ll be building if all else failed. After cracking open the guitar and digging out the guts I don’t know if it’ll be worth the hassle though… Non common ground and 7 button max with dpad. Think I’ll just take the USB cable and put a RJ45 on the end and use it for the stick I am building right now.

My first find makes up for the loss anyways

So I asked this before but now its for a different PCB and i’m still confused about how I should approach this. I want to wire both a button and a wire from a joystick to my TE Kitty for a hitbox/stick hybrid. Can anyone help me out about how I should do this?

I have a bunch of stock buttons from an SE I modded recently, and I noticed that Sanwa switches fit in them just fine. Are there any substantial differences in performance between stock buttons and Sanwas outside of the switches?

In the same vein, are plungers and rims interchangeable between the two types of buttons?

What is the cheapest and most reliable PS3 ----> XBox 360 on the market?

  1. Padhack a Brawlpad and then buy an Imp V2, USB Cable, Neutrik, and a drill
  2. Paewang PCB or PS360+
  3. Just buy an arcade stick

Any help or feedback would be appreciated

EDIT: SFxTekken Pro Stick

Double EDIT: Nevermind, I came up with my solution

Hello all

I am a total noob when it comes to custom sticks and I’m trying to learn more about the overall process and very very ballpark pricing.

So if I get a case, I basically need a joystick, buttons and wiring? Where would I get the stuff, are there videos on how to build a custom stick? I’m very overwhelmed any help would be much appreciated!
