You’re all acting like it costs money to play against real people or something or that there is an actual consequence to losing. You play real people, train all the stuff you can practice playing the computer, and you get better at playing real people at the same time you get better at execution etc.
I’d strongly argue that getting good at execution is not nearly as important as learning to play against a real person. I’ve seen tons of new players that spend a bunch of time in training mode and can do combos but suck at playing against real people. The result is they are totally focused on landing the combo but don’t know how to get a hit in or how to block.
If you’re playing online against DP mashers, I guess I can see the argument you are making. If you can play against good people from the get go though, you should really just do that.
practice alot & make sure your inputs are correct(you can even go to training mode & turn on the inputs, then you can double check what your doing right or wrong). I’ve heard about people launching their controllers & joystick vs a very easy computer opponent.
