3s teams should go first than singles
team tourneys usually dont happen cause everybody leaves after singles is over, thats usually cause singles is their main concern. If you put teams first, I can assure you more people will join.

Will the game part of the event be 24 hours meaning casuals going on all night… Or there will be a closing time on the game room. AND will there be any MM rooms? so if the game room gets closed we can just game all night for some $$
AND last question
will the rooms at the hotel have tv’s that can have systems plugged in ? not those locked tv’s that some hotels have?

The doors close around midnight, but saturday im sure people with rooms will be playing games. As for the tvs i believe you can hook up systems but I could be wrong.

Im talking a lot of shit in a mexican website to get them to come and play, their butt is sore cause of a tournament I won in mexico a couple of months back, so yeah, hopefully they show up
one of those guys is saying that the marvel players in mexico have great level and they could take the tournament, I already made a bet with them that they cant make it even top 3
anybody else wanna pwn them (as in MM them) ??? (they suck, honestly, they just think they’re good cause they only play in mexico) and they defeated hamm in a tourney

JD, nobody said in Mexico that he was a top player for winning against Hamm. In fact nobody said that Hamm was an excellent player (not even himself, btw I think he is a cool guy and a good player but that’s far from saying he is an excellent/top one).
One thing is to trash talk to hype, and another completly different is to lie about what we think, and say that the mexican players were feeling top players just because they won against hamm.
Please clearify that, also you don’t play MvC2 so you can’t correctly gauge the players level, you are just an spectator.
I think that none of the mexican MvC2 players will be able to assist (I hope to be wrong). If you had made this bet six months ago probably someone would have started planning and saving for the trip, but with just one month of anticipation I don’t think that this will be possible.
I suggest you to keep this bet for at least 6 more months, and we will try to do everything in our hands and see if a top MvC2 and/or SFIV Mexican player decides to go to a tourney of at least this level on summer (belive me, it’s very difficult for us to travel that far but there are a lot of good players here that want to play the best MvC2 players in the world, so I think we will figure something).
BTW, no one was upset at that time. 3S scene died in Mexico like 6 years ago… it was cool to assist to a 3S tourney again, we didn’t have one since 2002-03 I think.

Yes, I think that there are some mexican players that can take this MvC2 tourney (I’m not saying that is a fact that they would win the first place, but I think it is possible). I didn’t deny that part. Anyway, it’s just my opinion (which obviously can be wrong), and it dosen’t reflect what other mexican players think.
I want to organize something to encourage these guys to go to a USA tournament the next summer and try to prove it. I will post some ideas soon in the other forum.
