Hey Muffin man, this tourney in SVGL would prolly be the last “big” tourney for this year in Northern California. They do have bi-weekly’s, but this is prolly the last 1 we’re going to attend, since well we’re tired really. But we’ll prolly still have bi-monthly’s here, dunno though. We’ll see

So anyway: what is the deal with sleeping arrangements for you guys? I have a place to stay for the weekend already (SVGL friend) so I’m covered, but are you guys getting a hotel?
I’m not even sure. Seems that everyone doesn’t wanna stay overnight, so more than likely we won’t. But have fun on the second day though, since for sure you’re staying.
O_O! no one posted in reno crew’s awesome thread since we left!? :O! I don’t believe it! Anyway… o.o! The new arcade opens up Thursday, and they’re having WEEKLY specials! like free pizza to people who show up early, free play weekends, and what not. Awesome! I was thinking that one of us could talk to the guy (Rob hopefully) and maybe we could have console tournament until they get the games.
Anyway… I think this should be the crew’s plans after this tournament…

Meeting up at the arcade/Rob’s place 2 times a week (not including weekends. Practice days!) and play the absolute best we can, every time… (I.E., if I get you in bite infinite, i’m gonna finish it everytime.), so we’re constantly having to improve our game.

Learn more games. I’m willing to put more time into CvS2/MvC2, and I plan on playing more ST and Vampire Saviors.

Fun tournament overall. Lots of upsets (having to leave a DAY EARLY, staying one extra day, ETC.) but all in all, I had a great time. Watching the last match of CvS2 finals right when you walk into the arcade after a 3 hour break was awesome. I will never forget that match, it was great. I think I was actually the only one out of the crew that saw it. =X
Soul Calibur 2 had great competition. It was great to finally feel like I had a hold on a game perfectly, because there wasn’t any one person their I couldn’t beat. Placed 5th over all, and feeling good. Woo!
New arcade sounds uhh… well… “good” but I think I’ll hold back until they get rid of that contract they have with Reno Game Sales. Not surprising enough, a DDR 5th Mix and Tekken 4 of all things doesn’t want to make me change arcades. Maybe a good CvS2/3S machine is in order? =D

No one OMG famous from the SC2 community, but I did face the best Nightmare player in the US, Spencer. He ended up taking 3rd or 4th, right above me, but in casual play I beat him a few times, he beat me a few times. Spencer got uhh… 9th at Nationals earlier this year.
Also, he mentioned me in the results thread at SC.com, so check that out.
