Apparently, we’re lacking 360’s with our games, so we aren’t sure when our tourney’s would start. I was hoping it was going to be on June 7th, but alas, it didn’t happen since one of the tech’s said he’s doubtful we’re getting the 360’s in by then. But we hope we might get it the following week(June 14th, so hopefully we’ll get our tourney’s up an’ running).

Yes GGX2 has the 360’s which are most appreciated, CVS2 controls work better than the GGX2 ones did meaning you can at least do your motions correctly but the stick is just really loose and that makes it sensitive to me since I’m used to my stiff as hell 360. Regardless this weekend is gonna be hot for GGX2 which I’m starting to really like. I’ll see you guys there.
JP, Rob, and the rest of the Reno folks! My bro and I are coming up in 3 weeks…i believe that is June 13th, 14th, and 15th. Yea, my parents wanna go to Reno right after they pick me up from Davis.

Wow CVS2 got it’s 360’s already, that’s very nice of Nick to do that. We should have a tourney for GGX2 or another game this weekend. I’ve got to go to work but I’ll see you there this weekend.
Jesus, well that’s awesome that we finally got 360’s, but I don’t think we’re going to have any tourney’s any time this week but maybe the week after that. I really wish it’s going to be this weekend, but our buddy is having a Birthday hehe so we’re gonna try and go there, but no doubt June 7th we’re gonna have a tourney.
Andy, man I don’t know, we’re gonna have to try and set it up. If we’re going to hold a tourney on June 7th, it might just be either CvS2 or GGXX or both on that day then probably the following week would be MvC2, unless we do weekly CvS2 and GGXX (I wish

So you’re going to run tourney’s now Paul?? That’s cool, have fun with the tourney, since like I said, we can’t go this weekend since we have a bud that’s having a B-day and I was invited. Only reason why we’re trying to postpone the tourney til the following week, but hey good luck and I hope there would be a good turn out, if not a huge one at least :).

Ok kids, we need to get a tourney started. If we get it on the 7th of June, we’d be aight. So June 14th isn’t a good thing, but who knows, if it ever happens, and Rob really needs to be practiced up for Midwest, we will run weekly tourney’s. What do you guys think? I mean, that would be really good for him to actually get ready up for Midwest since he’s leaving for Midwest on the 26-30. And of course seeing that Andy and Alex would be here, it would be just too bad if we don’t hold a tourney for them the following week. So post up and say what ya’ll want, I mean we’re always open for discussions on things and this is one way of me telling you guys what I think. And btw, Baiken’s low D+fb, HJ to (kick is optional) S, D, air dash, S, D then land on the ground standing S, HJ S, D (if rc’d/frc’d S, D, rc/frc again, housanzen(dp+p)) freaking owns ( and yes it’s freaking 214dmg on Pot so :p)

I would be there for tourneys every week for sure for GGX2 and CVS2 and even Marvel2, I never missed a CVS2 tourney we had and I’d like to have weeklies again, definitly.
As far as that Baiken combo that’s pretty nice I was going to use her but I really like Potemkin so a good thing to know is that if blocked crouching dust~kick fireball doesn’t combo and you can be reverseled. For example Potemkin blocks the sweep, does a hammer fall through the kick fireball, frc, slash x2, heat grab, 223 damage
or if you don’t have the meter or Baiken is in the corner cancel the hammer fall into the stomp then command grab before she recovers, actually this is not true I just tested it and she can jump out so just do hammer fall, into corner combo, but you have to keep in mind that Baiken can frc the kick fireball and do c+dust(2nd hit stops hammer fall),kick fireball into combo, so both players have options of risk and oppurtunity.
Yea, but did I go technical on that when I just mentioned the combo??? LoL i’m scaling the damage on pot since he has the most stamina and doesn’t get damage as often. I’m not saying the combo would be effective off Pot, but I haven’t played againts a great pot as of yet. I was only saying something about this combo. I’m not saying I would try and keep on doing the combo even if it’s blocked. I know the distance of Pot’s throw, you never try and get in that range, of course everyone knows that now. At least I hope everyone does. You can throw peep’s off the throw if they miss the link or chain or even recover of a combo. One thing too, if you mash on 6321456+P almost every time someone does a link on you, eventually you willl get that grab. As far as I see it, the weekly tournaments, I wanna who’s willing to run the tourney every week?? I don’t have much experience on running a tourney, I’ll help run it, but someone has to be the main one running it. Any suggestions (rob’s being lazy about this btw.)???

well I ended up not being able to go to Atlantis anyways. my family wanted to stay in the Circus Circus/Silver Legacy/El Dorado area. plus there’s no way I was going outside… TOO HOT! I’ll make sure to tell you guys the next time I’m up there though (probably after baby is born).
