I was the one player with the Chobits sweater and on the evening I was wearing the X anime club shirt. There were a couple of guys that played on CvS2 however my skill level on P-groove was higher then the guys who were playing against me. I also checked out Time Crisis 3 and already beat it getting 2nd but damn the game is harder then TC2.
I had a very good time. I did win on the blackjack and crap tables at Silver Legacy alongside with winning plush toys as well. 
Sorry I didnāt make it down there to challenge you, my sleeping schedule has changed due to Xbox live. I couldnāt muster the strength to get out of bed to go and challenge you. Glad to hear you had a good time and actually won in Reno. This place breaks a lot of families.
To RenoRob: Howās the ranking coming along? I havenāt bumped into you on live yet but I hope youāre representin Reno, damn I should have put Reno somewhere in my name oh well. Hereās some info I found about CVS2 live. You can break out of any throw, thatās been confirmed, it doesnāt matter if youāre rolling, in the middle of a poke, or miss a crossup and land on the other side of them. Also your grade which is represented by letter can actually go down. I went from an S down to an A back to an S back to an A like 5 times. Iām not sure what exactly affects this but I believe that your total wins, total games, and win percentage compared to the other players have something to with this. What it means is that not everyone is just gonna reach a certain amount of wins or game total and just be handed an A or S, you have to meet certain criteria (mentioned above) as compared to the other top ranked players and youāll always be fighting to hold on to it, which I like because it would be pretty gay if in like 2 months 80% of the players had an A , S, or SS just because of games played.
Itās cool. Damn I hope that Scandia in fairfield will get Time Crisis 3. Not only was the gameplay better IMO but it was also harder to hide from the incoming shots. Then Mad Dog returning. That bad guy is hella tight. Keeps blowing himself up then comes back to fight another day. I swear he never dies in Time Crisis hehe.
CvS2 controls were decent at Circus Circus but MvC2 controls on the 2nd player were messed up. Third Strike controls were flat out shredded but how in the hell was I pulling off dash Raging Demons with Akuma on the 1st player side is a mystery beyond me. The 2nd player side of Third Strike the joystick screws were beyond loose. The same thing with the CvS controls as well and I havenāt played CvS in a very long time.
Iāll probably head back up to Reno again preferably on a Saturday and itāll take some time before I get those kinds of day offs again. Iāll let ya guys know when Iām coming down once again.

That sucks. Scrub Calibur IIā¦lmao SCII is not bad of a 3-D fighting game but it is better than T4 despite that I like playing T4 more then SCII. Good thing about SCII coming out to PS2 import March 27th is Hori is also coming out with SCII Hori Stick except itāll have the same six button layout as T4 so that will be very nice for PS2 and Gamecube owners.
Naw Iāve seen worse controls at Fairfield Tilt but then again the manager there is bringing back all the good old school games espiecally when they brought back Alien vs Predator. Iām hoping that they will get GGXX because I mentioned it to him and he is considering about getting it but then again I doubt heāll get it in the Tilt.
Anyways I couldnāt make it up there this Saturday however Iām trying to get both Saturday and Sunday off next month. Iāll post on here again when I head up to Reno.

We need to start having some sort of tourneys so this is a great start. Just meet at the game donāt ask the attendants whatās up because this is an underground tourney with no corporate approval. Itās not a big deal though just to let all the potential players know.
The tournament is also best of 3 matches, double elimination.

Itās not downtown. Itās on the main street (South Virginia). If you are coming by 395 you will see it before you get to downtown. If you are coming by 80, go past downtown, get on 395 south and then you will see it. It is a really tall building by itself with all these lights on it and it says Atlantis, so youāll be able to find it without trying to remember a specific off ramp. If I had to describe it Iād say itās every players paradise. Atlantis.

CvS2, I heard from āYaconoā that it would be on the same cabinet as SC2. But he said itās already built, same as the GGXX machine. I canāt wait to see those games in HOTLantis.
Now for A-3, we donāt even know if weāre totally going to get a new cabinet for that damned game, āYaconoā keeps saying itās not theirs, and heās not going to touch it and stuff, so itās a total bust for that game, and we donāt even know if weāre going to get a new one really.
MvC2, damn, least the sticks are fine, and the buttons are fine. Where āYaconoā put it just sucked since itās too cramped up over where it is atm. Not sure if heās going to put it somewhere else, like where that damn pin-ball machines are. Least peeps can see MvC2 side by side with SC2. Now thereās an idea .
Well hopefully they make changes with the arcade set up. The fighting game machines should be close together. Oh, btw, I keep bothering āYaconoā about this, and I hope it happens, we freaking need 3S machine and ST machine. Since itās included in Evo :).

Hell yeah Iām going to Evo 2003, I just need to learn to play GGX2 pretty soon so hopefully you guys can get me started and Iāll come over and really learn the game and know what to practice since I have gotten my joystick hacked for PS2. So I guess the games I will enter are: CVS2, GGX2, 3rd strike, ST. I would like to learn to play halfway decent in ST and 3rd strike but I have no clue where to start, I need some match vids or something as I think it would be sad if I only entered CVS2 like last time. I think this year will be a lot more fun because I think I have a little more confidence and wonāt be so nervous like I was before, and I plan on practicing a lot.
