all his normals seem to be standard goju(hard-soft) style karate.
the hard style is his normals (spearhand, backhand, chop, ridgehand, side kick, wheel kick, roundhouse). all moves used by goju style. notice he doesnt have an actual punch move… thats because every punch he has in reality in goju style r taught as blocks. unless its his spearhands which contribute to soft style side of goju.
for example, cl fierce is taught at my karate school as high block, his crouching strong is an inside middle block, and his far fierce is a down block.
the soft style is his parry animation as well, the fold up is a standard blocking technique for goju styles, u learn how to do blocks through kata’s where they teach u to fold up prior to every block attempt. so the fold up becomes the actual block and the block u do after the fold up becomes a strike.
