Explain how I was successfully Reversal Tiger Uppercutting the MP Change of Direction earlier today.

Abel wasn’t blocking? You reversed LP CoD, and thought it was MP? I don’t fucking know… but the math is the math, and some random forum guy who claims some bullshit that isn’t possible isn’t going to change that.

I guess it could’ve possibly been my stick, friend of mine has had troubles with LP and MP buttons (I have Hori EX2 Fight stick, wasn’t rich enough for a TE stick). Maybe that’s starting to happen to my stick (while recording CoD and then blocking it might have input LP instead of MP. In any case, disregard my last few posts.
However I do still think that EX CoD may be faster. Just have to wait and see.

Damage doesn’t seem that big, but as people have said it does throw them into the corner leading to more damage (possibly)
It was confirmed that the version of CoD used in that reversal video was LP. So, that version is now safer, whatever that implies.
Just saying.
I’d be surprised if they made any version of CoD safer than -3, though. Doesn’t seem to fit the Abel style.
Breathless looks awesome. So has there been any confirmed buffs with his other attacks yet?

Why did they buff that. Well I guess because of the dangers landing his normal falling sky without a C.Fp they increased the damage of it? But C.Fp Falling sky already did decent damage imo. Well hopefully there gonna adjust a lot more things, still 3 months to go
Is it 100% confirmed FS does more damage? Because if that’s true, lol so awesome. His new ultra is sick, if for nothing more than the crazy possibilities and mind fucks it’s about to bring to anybody who plays against Abel.
We have’nt seen any set ups with Breathless yet…why are point writting it off already??!

second in terms of use from what i see, its most likely a trigger like his Super and not a pure grab. If so, that means he can probably connect it with simple combos like we do with Heartless now
it also can be a great punisher with the fact that it has armor, speed and reach. -
and the damage looks normal, clearly not as much as Soulless but more than most of the new Ultra the SF4 characters got. Its work in Progress, not too nervous about now.
yea from what i saw & heard COD is a bit more safer now…ohhh boy plus new ultra with armor @ that for more shenanigans & yea i saw that BIG damage increase from FS & what i saw in another vid he’s suppose to have a fake kick like sagat now…dunno if they kept it but hopefully gotta wait & see how he is now
I dunno juicebox i’m not used to those words “Abel for top tier” LOL
They should throw in a little cutscene with Abel elbowing his opponent in the face while he is rolling during his Ultra.

if abel really does have boosted damage, and if his new ultra is as good as it seems… get ready to start seeing a ton of abel’s online

I can’t believe they buffed the damage on elbow xx falling sky. that’s the last thing I thought Abel needed… he can already end a match in two or three combos. Maybe they made it so that CoD doesn’t give him as much meter, so we can’t FADC to elbow as often to balance it out?
ok, so i spent some time watching this video, i really dont think that FS does more damage than normal, but im not an expert so i dunno, what does it look like to you guys? (first link is the video, he does the elbow to FS twice in the latter half)
C.HP > HP Falling sky already done 270 damage, doesn’t it? Oh, don’t forget it pretty much almost gives you a whole EX bar as well.
That’s a lot of damage against someone like T. Hawk. I’d imagine it’d be even more devastating against characters with normal vitality.
