wish I had this for 360, stuck on the ps3 for the time being. too bad, abel community seems awesome on 360, on ps3… not so much. I think a couple hav it on station, but few that i’ve ever fought, so I don’t get to see many abels (at least ones that post on this forum) which sucks. been trying to rep abel on ps3 for sf4, but for super, i’m definitely making the jump to 360, see you guys then

My XBL Gamertag is the same as my SRK Forum name: Lan Mordreth. Wouldn’t mind getting some help with Abel, mainly some of his combos and the F+MK >> Dash >> XXXX. I can’t seem to get the next hits to land after the dash consistently. I could also use some help learning how to get TTs in.

Yeah, EX Falling Sky is really good against neutral jumpers, the reason i use it is not cause of the knockdown or anything (cause you can use mp falling sky as well) its because i buffer it into ultra so if it trades with your neutral jump i get free ultra off it.
BTW, i lost to Whiteshadow only twice and won the rest of the game (like 12-2). He’s not that bad, he just gets really repetitive.
We should run some more mirrors later on, i need to practice the matchup anyways since there are no other Abels in my area and i usually a get good connection with cali peeps

I’ve been playing Abel for about 2 months now and it’s the best I’ve ever been doing. Unfortunately, “ever” is 4 months of SF4 play with no prior serious experience. At a level of around 3/4000 BP I can win consistently, but I still need to work on more advanced tactics (F MK Dash combos to name one). I’m up for some mirrors, or you could have a go at my Chun or Gouken (they’re pretty bad :P)
