as for suggestion, I think you need to be like the japanese pro gamers and EX roll out of bad situations.
Personaly I am not skilled enough to think of stuff like that, but It would have saved you a ton of damage in some of those sets. remember, when you throw shotos off of the flowchart they get messed up.

Man you’re Abel never ceases to amaze me. That Akuma is pretty solid, it’s refreshing to see that it’s not another air hado, st. rh spamming Akuma. The only change I can honestly tell you to make is changing the language into japanese, he’s way too vocal in english other than that everything you do is beautiful lol

Well you’re very good, better than me haha. Awesome execution, I laughed at the j.mk f.mk cod combo because you do it like it’s not a one frame link.Most people would have done a cr.mp or s.fp after a hit confirm j.mk Great execution and patience. You use the back dash invinciblity beautifully vs Dhalsim.
But I did see a couple things you could have done, during kens block strings you could have gotten some easy EX TTs seeing as he never really tick threw. Also rolling through people after knockdown isnt a bad idea to bait.
You could mix up your block strings more with some c.lks .
I absolutly adore the fmk to hk mixup it’s a smart idea condering most people dont block high after that move. they try to jump out or c.lp it. which gets beat by a meaty hk. mad props.
overall you play alot different than most abels, you’re very patient and calculating and not block string happy. By watching you ive realized that abel isn’t a zoning character but a really a character that relies on openings more.
Enjoyed watching you play this. You should give yourself a little more credit, you have a nice Abel!
good stuff strider. the ken / dhalsim player sucked though, had very repetitive stuff. the ken player cant combo, couldve had many ex tatsu combos but finished with st.lk or just stopped at cr.lk. the dhalsim player, doesnt really know dhalsim to well imo, he needs more work. not taking away your win, very good play, punished accordingly.
against the dhalsim player though, he loved that jump back fierce. the whole video i was hoping you would just ex rekka and ultra since you had so many opportunities. also im sure if you kept doing f+mk dash cl.rh that it would work the whole round… he is just trying to jump back fierce and NEVER learned his lesson.
one of the better abels i’ve seen on here, punished well when you got the opportunity, i’m sure there are people on here who will find fault with your game but the only thing i’d suggest is that you get better at blocking, you got hit way too often especially the first 2 rounds i don’t think you blocked once lol…good job anyway you’re definately getting there :bgrin:

There were a few times where Dhalsim did a jump back fierce, and you didn’t have time to c.fp but you could have falling sky grabbed his arms instead of just blocking. Other than that, solid as always hah
