Pretty much got murdered… didn’t block some silly stuff and played far too defensive but ill be damned if i didn’t enjoy the crap out of it.
No you gotta play defensive vs chun, that was not the problem. FYI you can ultra her instant over head. you didnt punish her jump ins or even some of her wifed moves. You were doing good with the st.LK at the start use that more then bait her fierce attacks to FAD TT her thats 1 trick. Its a hard match up i could give you more pointers but im in a rush now lol.
Well about being offensive on Chun what i meant was i like to “try” and keep on top of her when she has no meter, In a vein hope of controlling her use of SBK. Against a decent Chun though i can see that’s just not happening.
Focus attack dashing through her limbs though is something i have been told before but struggle with actually putting into a game. Although i shall endeavor to do so!

Am I the only one who doesn’t rate Robin or Pikagoma that highly?
I like robin over pikagoma. someone said earlier that pikagoma tends to over think things, which I agree with. Robin seems pretty solid to me. what do you think he lacks?
I like both Abels, Pikagoma is good at punishing neutral jumps and following up with mixup, takes higher risk. robin01 likes to play it safe so is a consistently solid abel. Both are great IMHO, both lose to Tokido but Robin01 came closest to beating him.

Just one thing I saw you cancelled a blocked close st.mp into a roll and get thrown, may be a better idea not to cancel(though i can understand when youre on fire you just wanna keep up the momentum lol) since s.mp is safe on block anyway.
Oh and my habit against Cody is after a knockdown do a meaty j.mk that gives me 3 options, if hit ill continue with whatever i want to, if he did reversal ex zonk i will be able to land and block in time and punish, if the j.mk’s blocked ill neutral jump and will usually follow with a j.lk on the way down(if he does ex zonk) or if cody neutral jumps j.hk on reaction(they rarely jump back)… yeah most of the stuff is based on me reacting to what the cody player does. :shrugs:

Yeah I see something good there, i guess there’s less risk in doing that than what I was doing trying to bait EX Zoinks! with rolls. Neutral lk sounds pretty godly for hitting Ex zonks actually; into st.hp for the winz.

Edit: One of the commentators said they think Ryder has the best Abel in the world. He’s good and all, there’s no doubt, but the best in the world? I’d like to hear peoples thoughts on this. Do you still rate Shiro as the best, or do some see Robin or Pikagoma as contenders? Or are some for Juicebox and Ryder?
