The old MAME was not even meant to become public, It was a private thing we (Ryu, Lucky, Slide, etc) were using.

Slide already sent me the ‘old mame’, 0.61. I don’t remember if thats where all the problems started, but that could be it. I remember remarking to a friend that the controls got worse, and he agreed, but we changed mames anyway. It wasn’t as good as before, but it was still playable. But it got even worse. Most likely, 0.61 is the one that was still playable but not perfect. I wish I knew what the oldest good one was. Chances are we’d have to break out the old emerald mame or uomame for the good 6ps though.
Another old Mame I have that’s really good is May 3 .60
Quite a number of ppl didn’t seem to like that one for whatever reason. But I thought that was the best one I had ever played on. Also playing on it, using LAN 60 connection type. That’s the closest i’ve gotten to lagless play. Shit is smooth.
That just might be it, for some reason it sounds really familiar to me. That was what, like 3 years ago at the least? KOF was really fun on kaillera on the old mames…I wonder if going back to that would revive the KOF kaillera scene. It’s probably not worth the effort though. I’ll see if I can talk to Drew and Hellsap and maybe a few others and see what will come of that. I’m not going to be the driving force on this type of thing anymore though.

But anyway, Drew already has the May 3. When I used to play kof, and when I would play on kaillera against him, that’s what we played on. With the LAN 60 connection type and combination of pings was never above 50. And it was not above 75 with 3 ppl.

Yo guys, I just want to let you all know THIS IS NOT A 1 DAY TOURNAMENT but the time limit on the matches is a lot stricter than it was before in my ssf2 tournament (it’s 2 days now it was 1 week before) So try to get your shit together
this is basically meet up with your opponent through contact info, play the game (thru kawaks or mame i don’t care whatever you guys want but just play the game), the loser gives me the info, I will post it up on the tournament bracket online
