So, what is it that causes the screen to go all “wonky” and colorful when doing that trick with the catfish boss? Is it known what causes that or is it just a random glitch? It happened twice on me so far when I was trying to level up the Skeleton. It’s annoying because there’s no choice but to exit to the dashboard and restart the game…meaning you also lost whatever progress you made on that. It was most likely mentioned already…I’ll read back a few pages.
I did the boomerang trick on the Barbarian boss too, and got the same thing on the 2nd boomerang use.
Alien Hominid has been a fun change of pace…I only just started leveling him up today.
WildKitty and I got the error a lot when we first started doing the glitch.
Sometimes it is random, but if you KILL the fish with the boomerang it will do it all the time. We got around it by doing the trick till he was low health, and then killing him normally. As long as we didn’t kill him, or was about to kill him with the boomerang then the error did not happen very often.
Blue Knight’s Magic downward attack kinda sucks. You can only blast twice before you ran out of energy. It is the same thing as his regular magic standard attack but you can do it twice in the air.
Having Max agility makes you a pain in the butt to melee if you have none/very little. You can constantly peg people with arrows and then just scurry away with super magic jump. My green knight is like this and he is a pain in the butt to get hit. Im building up his defense though because he is super squishy.
Unlocked the ninja. So far he has some sort of smoke bomb like attack that is a mix of orange guy’s flame but green knight’s Damage over time like thing. It does a minor pushback so I don’t know if at higher levels it does a complete knockdown like green knight’s poison gas.

In a very short amount of time im now a level 23 with the help of animal orb giraffy and my trusty boomerang!! I maxed out his magic and balanced his defense /health and strength.:woot:
there’s a dig-able “X” in the water palace level, once you get outside after fighting the fishmen. we had 3 different people dig at the x and it freezes every time.
To avoid the bug when fighting the catfish that causes all the colored lines, just shoot your boomerang AFTER his furball hits the boat and proceed to block his attack. The bug happens when you kill the catfish and he gets hit by the cannon. By waiting until after the furball hits the boat, the cannon will not hit the catfish.
Anyone notice the X on the ground in the final party room after the credits? There’s a thief shooting arrows over it so you can’t get it by yourself. My friend and I tried to get it, but we could never get the dig icon to come up after a bunch of tries. :\
yeah, drizz and I were trying to dig that spot yesterday…and apparently it just isn’t diggable. As many other people, we also tried the gameplan of one person blocking the arrows while the other digs the spot…but nothing. The strange thing is that “x” isn’t there when you start there at the beginning…and it “just happens” to be placed right next to a dude shooting arrows. Is there something to this apparently un-diggable X that shows up at the end?! duh duh DUNNHHHH!..tune in next week folks…eh, it’s probably just an inconsistency in the artwork. Still, even that hardly makes sense…wouldn’t they just recycle that art since it’s the same room anyway?
funny thing…we also found out that the digging can be used as an attack.
The Catfish xp Scam? --it hasn’t crashed on me at all lately…and I still usually hit the hairball and let the cannon shoot the catfish. It seemed to only crash on me if the boomerang ends up killing him. I’ve levelled Skeleton into the 20s quickly thanks to this exploit, I also built up my Orange knight a bit more…and Alien Hominid.
Well, I see I’m a bit late to the party. Just hit 16 on my first character, and I’m not strong enough to get into the Green Princess’s castle, but don’t have the last item to sail. Grind-fest here I come.
edit: Any updates on when the netcode will be properly fixed? I get tired of playing by myself.
Somehow in an online match my friends quest account got all my characters I unlocked and all my money. However when he leveled one of my characters up it didnt save it. And once the game lagged out he only had the 4 starting knights at level 1. So my friend and I not wanting to start over after crossing the ocean decided to quit. I might play later tonight though but most people I try to start a match with I can’t connect to or they can’t join the rooms I make.
I am goddamn pissed. How the FUCK do you beat the lava world boss? I’m using sandwiches and trying to hit that blatant X on his chin, but when you sandwich, you cant fucking jump high enough. Then before I know it, the nigga looks down and hits me with the fire breath once and Im dead before I have the chance to use a potion, then I have to go through the whole lava world clusterfuck again. This shit just totally killed my good mood.
I have a level 25 red knight with all points invested into strength and damage, only 5 more for each til they’re maxed, and I have 4 or 5 invested into defense, with the spiny animal to give me a defense boost.
I beat him first try at 16. I had the cat pet and jumped up and spammed X and Y. The air hit lifts him up a little bit each hit, and I ko’d him in 1 jump combo. Easy.
keep jumping and spam X to hit him on the chin, when he lifts his fist and a little red guy comes out GTFO because hes going to do fire breath and get ready to run under the falling rock thats coming at you from the back.
Got my Orange Knight to 99 last night and unlocked all the Arena specific characters. If any body needs help leveling up on insane mode let me know and I’ll party with you, I just ask that you return the favor when I level up some of my characters.
I’ve been playing a lot of online arena battles so I can get the achievement and here is what i have noticed:
No matter what lever your character is, everybody is evenly matched when you go play the ranked matches. A level one will have all the abilities a fully maxed out level 99 does including all the Maxed out magic attacks including the super jump, all the combos, fast arrows, etc.
So far from what I have seen all the characters are pretty even matched. The main difference that separates them from each other is their R+Y magic attack. The Green knight has the advantage of the extra damage that the poison deals after you hit with it. Blue Knight Freezes and gives him the opening to deal physical damage afterwards. Red Knight can hold people in his lightning until his magic runs out, and the range on Orange Knights R+Y is the greatest out of the other three.
The animal buddies are great at countering certain strategies other people may use on you. For example If i had the Ram assist equipped he would make it harder for the Red Knight to lock me down with the lightning, also the Ram attacks immediatley after the round starts giving you a free unblockable first attack every time. For the most part though i would keep the Yeti assist equipped because he makes you invulnerable to freezing, completely shutting down the Blue Knights main strategy. The fighting is a lot of fun and kinda deep, nothing crazy broken so far, but then again I havent seen too many bonus chracters, just the 4 main knights. I’ll post more if i find anything else.
