Yeah pretty much. The enemy ship design looks pretty boring imho, but having other characters as bosses is cool.

KOF XII is supposedly their most expensive game ever, over MI2 and AOF3. While this… must’ve cost about as little as KOF NeoWave… a random re-hashed sequel, tops.
But i see what you mean. That would probably not be enough to get it int their heads.
