A couple of Yun changes in USF4 from Japanese loctest

I seriously want to assume that giving him a j.mk crossup is a typo or something.
I’m so confused why they gave those changes to him… Brace for the scrub army to return

Ex lunge to plinked clp…will result in a clp and throw tech right??

I don’t know why he needs the +1 back. Who on earth used an EX lunge and then thought “Ugh, this -1 is really killing me.”?

@volthsair, like I mentioned a few months ago, the heavy dragon kick nerf was a game changer for Yun. Chris Hu was a great example for that. When I played him on stream, I didn’t know the dragon kick was back and Chris just recklessly presses whatever he wanted. Later that day off stream, I played Chris again and it was a different story as he lost to my dragon kick lol.

@Yorkey, I don’t agree with ex lunge being +1 on block either

@dominus_what, sagat got nerfed pretty hard. It’s a good even match now

Kazunoko gonna win Evo now!

Yun should be able to now land ultra 1 after ex lunge hits on rog deejay cammy and few others now right? He don’t need(+1 on block make it 0 frames or -1) this buff and he now has a better cross-up.I think they want to make a lot of players mad to make another version of sf4.Yun is a threat but now he is a killer.

Yun didn’t need Ex Lunge or Mk cross up. Especially since our Dive cross up. All I wanted for him was literally trade HK DP for 4 frame recovery landing on dive.

Ugh…the Arny of Yun may return.

Also, I don’t think giving up our active frames on jumping forward was worth it. Early jumping forward was good at beating some ground Anti Airs. Notably Guile Crouch fierce.

So everyone will have a pocket T. Hawk then? kappa.

Well, I used to main T.Hawk before switching to Yun :stuck_out_tongue:

Part of the Yun Army existing was because of how hyped up he was right away as top tier. Like, 7 of the top 10-scoring Japanese players were maining Yun. But there will be plenty of changes with Ultra. He’ll be pretty damn good, but I really don’t think this is going to boost him straight back into “Choose for free wins” territory, especially since Ultra will mark 2 major metagame changes since AE.

Lol those Yun changes. Maybe I might pick him up again, I already play him but just online. I do not care, I hate certain characters. Confirmed tier whoring.

Better upload matches before USF4. Then be like “Look scrubs, been playing Yun since AE dropped! CHECK THE UPLOAD DATE!”

Also F Blanka, I keep forgetting certain things whiff. Then I use my main Bison or Blanka the Blanka.

Lame. All these lungepunching into dp yolo yuns are gonna come back. I like the buffs so far, but the ex lunge wasnt needed.
I guess its there to give you incentive to waste the meter to get in, since red focus and all.

EX Lunch Punch into DP yolo never worked for me in 2 years.

I think he’s going to be weak to Adon, Fei Long, Sagat, Cammy, any grappler, Balrog, and Evil Ryu. Not a very big list though. In fact probably the same list as in AE2012. If you don’t want to be part of the Yun army then stand out and be a better Yun. Everyone already jumping on that Evil Ryu Bandwagon though.

Well online is a Gief fest atm.

6 games and 5 were Yun vs Zangief. I don’t even like fighting this ass as Bison and it’s not even a bad matchup.

I wonder how good his j.mk is for crossups, hopefully not as bad as Yang his current j.mk crossup. +1on ex lunge is a bit excessive. Should be neutral at best and otherwise just -1, but i’ll take it.
Where is the 1 dmg on his command grab and the range nerf, are they gone O.o ? As for the HK Upkicks nerf being gonne also?

Some wierd changes are being given but i’ll take it…

Apparently, the Japanese change log drop. Yun DP is only strike invincible as Remy said. Which is still good.

Yeah, there’s a few things wrong on the list for other characters also.

I think people are exaggerating a little about lunge punch. Some people think it’s back to AE which you could juggle into ultra. Sakura’s EX spin kick is invisible and +4 on block. Right now though, I’m more excited about Ibuki changes. Curious about her walk speed and new combos.
