wow, jeez guys this was probably one of the best tournaments I’ve ever been to. Pretty fun too. But once Again i am slain by psychocronic (he eliminated me at streetsville too) but whatever. Cool to see some of you guys down there. Lookin forward to seeing the stat thread. Btw did anyone here actually buy anything at that shop in the second room?
I did I bought 2 spawn figures since at retail they are 12 USD but 2 for 10 is a steal.
My game was off today lol GGs to all especially the pad rose representin the shamwow like a dream come true.
FTR I didn’t buy crap but I was about to buy 4 packs of random trading cards they had for a buck lol.
btw i didn’t catch who won. Had to leave around 6ish 7ish.

That was my first tourney. I missed my first match which really pissed me off (I’m sure it pissed off the people running the thing and some players too) but anyway I faced a pretty good Balrog player with my Honda and lost. The competition seemed really high and much better then most of the crap you get on XBL.
It shouldn’t be my last tournament. I’ll try my best to get to more of them. The competition really makes it fun and the community seems really cool.
O so u were the guy I waited 5 minutes for :looney: anyway were you eliminated for good or did they just give you a lose?
They sent me to loser bracket. Which is not that bad considering they could have easily just kicked me out completley.
Damn, thanks guys, that really means a lot! Even though Gerjay thought I had what he called “the worst tournament experience ever,” the casuals that the group of us played between like 1 and 3 pm was worth it. Playing with such talent upped my game so much; I feel a lot more confident for the future, and like a real part of the community too.
All in all, amazing day :wgrin:.
Hey Tofu how far is thornhill from vaughan because iirc promenade is close to vaughan and that is in thornhill.
