Of course, I’m just joking around about the ban. Akuma is probably the best counter to honda in the game, even though ryu/deejay have a big advantage too, I just don’t see honda getting through a really solid air fireball game.
PS - I quit honda at the last tourney I was at because of Deejay. RH Slide is the greatest anti-honda move in history.

In all seriousness, you were lucky that the tournament ended as early as it did. If 3S had any more entrants we’d have been straight fucked over. If STHD didn’t get like six DQ’s, it’d have been fucked over. Considering you’re adding SFIV, which is probably a minute longer than 3S per game and you’re likely to get 32+, you’re going to need six hours.
You’re also going to need multiple TV’s because 1 TV just doesn’t cut it when you get into the 16+ player range if you’re on a tight schedule. I was really surprised we had so many TV’s available for random game casuals but no extra copies of 3S or STHD to speed up the tournaments.

Yeah, we only brought one 360 which had STHD, and only brought one copy of Anniversary.
But, the next tourney, if it’s JUST SFIV and STHD.
We’ll make sure to bring about 2 of each (If we have the resources maybe even more)
Time wise, we MAY start it earlier, maybe 11:30 or something iuno.
We’ll have to talk about it.

Jay Wang’s Spiral is good but I think I’ve got the best Spiral in Toronto and, until Banshee comes out of retirement, probably in Canada. My Sent sucks ass though so it balances out.
