So did anyone ever meet up in the 714/949 area? Just met some people from SRK at the Fry’s off the 405 fwy on the euclid exit. It was pretty fun! New to SF4, but not others sf’s. Got my ___ handed to me but learned some stuff and got more hyped. Waiting for my ps3 and TE stick in the mail.

Good to see you posting here. As for this thread itself, I don’t think many people really meet up, but if you want to meet people and play, check out the RTSD sticky for fullerton lan center, and Wednesday night fights in Costa Mesa threads for gatherings and stuff

Dale found the RTSD sticky, but not the costa mesa. Costa mesa would be a lot closer. About how many show up to these gatherings. Just bYOC? And that’s it?

Weds nights a good crowd show up, about 25 or so, fullerton lan center on friday nights, can be around the same during the course of the night.
They are console gatherings of course, the weds night fight clubs, people bring setups and they usually have around 5 going… the lan center they have some big projection tvs and a few consoles, sometimes a few extra setups people bring in etc.

I attended the weds night fights regularly until i started my job recently… about a month and half ago. Since im way up in san fernando valley, its hard for me to go out, but i try to go when i can still.
The fullerton lan center i go randomly on fridays, I went this past weekend.
Either way, both places will have alot of very skilled players. Tho weds night fight club might be capped/full at least for the near future until evo, as its gotten so big that he has to cap attendance and will be giving priority to people training for evo. even still read through the thread and introduce yourself
Thanks dale. I did just that. I hope I’ll be able to attend. I thought EVO 09’ would be expensive but participation is cheap $10 for SF4 BUT the logistics are expensive, like food, shelter, and gas. There is the catch i guess. I might attend. I am trying to get my bro to go too. He is a sagat man…
