You think MK9 tourny will be set up sometime in the future? I dont play personally, but i know a few that do… same for any other fighting game of interest (tekken, soul calibur idk, just throwing some well known games out)
And if i invite a few, someone else invites a few, it’s nice for the 925 fighting scene overall, ill help however needed.

I don’t have the hardware for it, but I plan on getting an BM Intensity Shuttle should the input lag tests I do today show considerable lag. The only reason for any lag last time is because the tv was 1080p native and had to scale to 720p. Next time I’ll have my other tv which is 720p native.
@tyuhhi: I would like to get some side tourneys or even just casuals of other fighters, too.
On Friday we are going to have a list of other fighting games that you vote for, which ever game has the most votes we will have a $1 tourney for that game. If you want to post some ideas here or on the Final Bout forums I will be happy to take your suggestions

@Tornix, how much does the cable cost? Maybe we can all chip in help buy it. Also, even if the tv is 720p native it doesn’t mean that lag won’t be present. On mvc3 2 frames of lag isn’t really noticed compared to 2 frames of lag on sf.

All the equipment would run between $250-300.
I’ve done the input lag tests on my asus monitor and compared it to both my tvs with and without the pass through on my hauppauge. The results were pretty close to equal to the asus on every test (roughly 4ms difference or 1/4 frame). I’m sure if it was 2 or even 1 frame me and GG would notice it right off, anyway.
^^ good to hear. 4ms is perfectly acceptable. even the evo monitor can lag 6-7ms.
