Maybe the word isnt dry, but its too hard to find things easily around here without driving kinda far. I guess Antioch and Brentwood area are ok but the numbers are definitely too small compared to say San Jose (when it comes to gaming, I hate coming back home to Concord knowing the nearest arcade is piece of shit Qzar). And then there’s Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Concord…etc which is I think is just about completely dead. I’m one in a very small group of people I know out here that plays ANY kind of fighting game lol. Not hating, just saying.

The spots are Def Antioch all of us from oakley/Brentwood go to Antioch, Concord has players, WC is DEAD or they are free Pittsburg peeps are pretty much antiochers ,Pleasont hill has no one… its just we all have Real life shit to do so we have to schedule it.
I wish. I’ve been trying to find a place that holds tournaments or anything like that, but I haven’t found anything.There certainly aren’t any good arcades in Antioch. I’m tired of being an online warrior, but I can’t afford to travel to any events, at least the big ones.

Yeah, I’ve got Project Justice (jp version with the create a character board game) just gotta dust off the dreamcast. I’ve got a bunch of obscure fighters like Breaker’s Revenge.
Gensou and I have started to go to Gamecenter arcade in San Mateo regularly. As GG said before it’s a solid place for FG players (FChamp was there the other night apparently). Plus, it’s in my hometown, so I know plenty of places to eat/hang out. If anyone wants to tag along let us know.
BTW we also got the stream going in HD now with 2+ mics.

My brother plays AE and HDR/ST only, I play AE and so do most of us. San mateo is kinda far man, we need more local.

I play a lot of AE, I don’t own a 360/PS3 though and i only get to play in arcades/sessions. I don’t do Marvel at all.
At the next session I can bring out a PS2, but I have no sticks if anyone can provide those… I can bring out GGXXAC (still no players out here?), CVS2, Alpha, SF Anniversary (get some 3S in)… I also got Kof XI, Maximum Impact 2, NGBC and some other random shit if anyones interested (Bloody Roar?!)
I play pad, so no problem for me on the stick front.
I’d love to try my hand at some 3S, KOF XI, NGBC… shoot, anything. I suck at Alpha though lol.
i suck at all those but i play most of them. My rides are hella unpredictable so its hard to make it to sessions sometimes
I’ll play me some GGXXAC, Alpha 2, KoF XI, 3S. Been a while since I’ve touched those games. But really, I’ll play most any 2d fighter. Unfortunately, I don’t have any ps2 sticks either, but I can also play on pad.
