as a result. Cicada didn’t bother with entering, Puff lost to a flowchart, and I lost in the finals to a pad warrior (Rog vs Honda).
It doesn’t bug me though, the grand prize was an Xbox 360. If it was a nintendo wii…i’d be hella pist…if it was a nice cash prize i would also be hella pissed
Just got back from the CSUSB tourney and am scarred for life.
The amount of scrubs there was amazing. Cicada, Dodgers, and I were the only people that brought sticks or even knew sticks existed.
Tourney organizer right off the bat said that the sticks were an unfair advantage but Cicada brought up a good point that we were at a disadvantage without our sticks while the “pad warriors” were at a much greater advantage.
I failed in the first round with Gief. I played incredibly scrubby but hey, it was on a pad 
Oh by the way, the called my name right after I asked if we could switch up the bracket so we didn’t play each other. I was caught a little off guard.
Cicada didn’t play and I think that was a wise decision. Pad hurt my hands.
Dodgers made it all the way to the finals but sadly didn’t win. We all agreed that top 3 would of been us 3 if we could have used sticks.
Not to mention the first round took FOREVER since there was 1 set up.

but hey, don’t lose any sleep on the tourney man. In the end, it was hardly worth the 3-4 hours. Only saving grace was being able to meet up at laugh at all the horrible players (minus like…2 of them…out of 63 entrants)

Definitely. Escrow on the house got delayed, or else id start having meets there ASAP, but it looks like itll be late may or june by the time i cna host one.
