Easiest thing on earth man, just get the blue buttons, take out the six hex screws on the top, flip it over and replace them one by one. Just unplug the qd’s from the stock buttons and plug in the blue ones. Madcatz made just about everything on the stick plug-and-play.

Thats where I upgrade my buttons for my original SE stick to have TE stick buttons.
Would either of these work? They’re they Snap-In Sanwa buttons.

If I ever want to have a stick that works on PS3 and 360 I need to buy a 360 stick, right?
You need to buy a 360 stick and modify it by adding either version of a ChImp PCB. If you want solder free you need a Teasy board and the SMD version of the ChImp. You need to get the correct Teasy board for either the TE or TE-S.
both version works. however, you’ll save yourself a lot of time modding the 360 version.
i modded it with the ps3 version for a few reasons.

its not that bad. the kits are out there. its just either you paying someone to do it for you or u take the time to do the soldering.
toodles led board found on lizardlick.com and some arcEye leds for the buttons plus some wire and solder and you are on your way.
