I’ll pick it up at night after my meeting (around 8 or 9) or whenever is a good time for the other person to bring the rice. I don’t know how to esimate how many cups for 6 pounds of chilli since I eat a TON of rice or much bigger ratio from chilli to rice.

I’m heading to Hawaii tomorrow to chill with the girlfriend (not planning on gaming) for a week (heading home on the 20th). Our current plan is to go to a luau, Oahu Ghost Tour (the girl loves Ghost Hunters…), the fire knife dance competition (anybody going to compete in that? I clearly should), Curry House, Farrells many times, the Dole plantation (girl loves pineapples), minigolf, snorkeling, parasailing, me attempting to surf, maybe a sub tour, maybe the LOST tour, and I don’t know what else. Tourism hoooooo.
Anyways, I’m not playing any Marvel this trip (first time to Hawaii with the girlfriend, AND it’s kind of for our anniversary, so: no, no Marvel), but I’ll money match people at eating ice cream at Farrell’s. 
Once we pencil in the schedule in more detail, I may make an open invite for free ice cream at Farrell’s some night as a way to say hi to peeps. 
If any of the above touristy ideas is interesting to peeps I know, PM me and we’ll see if schedules align. I’m not planning on being a lazy tourist.

:lol: You guys don’t know how lucky you are to have Farrell’s around there. There’s exactly ONE in the continental United States right now, in Santa Clarita California. I know because I make a point to visit it every time the girlfriend drags me to Disneyland for her birthday. True, it’s a crappy restaurant, but it’s pretty unique (like the mourned “Pizza and Pipes” that was a pizza joint with a pipe organ that showed stuff like Chaplin and Keaton silent movies) and the last Farrell’s around the Pacific Northwest died about eight years ago or something. I loved them as a kid. Hell, the local sports talk show host mourns Farrell’s every couple months, to the point where I sent him one of their menus to help shut him up. :lol:
Anyways, I have my two “I Did A Sweet Thing At Farrell’s” award ribbons and am going for the third to complete the set, so I’m ready to take that money.

It’s fun to do the tourist thing once… and most of the things you’re doing at least sound fun. If you’re trying your hand at surfing… the south shore should be pretty good since it’s breaking into the summer. Try checking out the North Shore at Shark’s Cove for snorkeling… since it’s summer it should be pretty calm.
Our mini golf sucks over there. I would find something else to do.

I’m heading back from SoCal to Hawaii for a while. I was wondering if anyone is interested in playing some 3s. I’ll be back on the 26th or so, and be around for a few months. I wanted to try to find some other players so I don’t have to just go to Brian’s and waste money all day.
