i need your guy’s help if you’ll don’t mind. i think i might be able to convince our company (fun factory) to change sticks/buttons on SF4 and maybe, if it helps, they might change the upcoming SSF4 arcade version when it comes out.

1.post some things you would like to see changed about the cabinets in fun factory or fun works. (price and/or sticks/buttons or whatever)
2.what changes would you like to see? (if answered question 1)
3.if you are one of those that do not play at arcades for a specific reason, please feel free to respond with your opinion.

answering these 3 questions could really help out to enjoy the arcades again.

my input:
1.i personally don’t like the sticks/buttons and the price to play of course.
2.i prefer a sanwa set up and change the price to 50 cents a game mainly because vanilla is old, and super is new and an upgrade from vanilla.

so please, any input from you guys would definitely help us out. i know there’s alot of lurkers in here and i ask you guys please, post and make your voices heard. if everything works out, ill make sure pearl ridge fun factory and fun works will get the changes first and see how it goes from there. if it’s good, most likely SSF4 will get the same upgrade. POST UP cuz imma show this thread to my boss lol

to get me to play in arcades again (listed by priority):

  1. Update to SSF4 is a must
  2. Lower the play cost ($.50). if i played the amount of rounds as I do at home in an hour’s session…i’d be a poor man if $1/game.
  3. stick/button change out
  4. what would it take to get an arcade bp system in place (like Japan)?!?!?! (i’m not a stat whore, but it does ad another level of fun to the game)

As far as the setups go, I’d prefer sanwa as well. The pricing is difficult to speak on because we all know how expensive the damn game is. That being said, I wouldn’t mind paying $1.00 a game for SSF4. Anything more would be a stretch for me.

And wtf, I just played this kid Phenom Man about 10 times in a row on Xbox Live and stole his BP and PP. It turns out this is the GuitarHeroPhenom kid, who has the world record for the full combo Dragonforce Through the Fire and the Flames run on Guitar Hero. He can mash jab faster than anyone I know.
