LOL@failMKmovie. Hilarious in its own respects. But it has its own humor. Van Dam SF movie was more of a corny kind of funny, while MK was trying so hard to give fan service, it was hilarious. hahaha. In fact, I watched SF the movie on BLU-RAY a couple months back. Pretty epic night
But on the scene note, my friends and I have been having a small session night for a couple of weeks now, in Zinrai’s garage. 3-4 ppl from outside our circle come down and session with us. Usually do casuals for a bit, then we did Them Vs. Us. They only had 4 ppl though, and we were about 5-6 ppl, so our best 4 went in. First set, we won, clean sweep, zero losses. Second set, it was much closer, but we pulled it out in the end.
In the session we had 2 days ago, we did the same stuff, but we added on a double elim. tourney to end the night. Really fun matches, and it was interesting to see how my friends reacted to different playstyles on the fly, cuz all of us kind of have a feel of how we each play already.
In one of the brackets, I put 2 certain individuals up against each other. One of them was from the guys we invited, and the other was Mark_Aroyo. What made these guys different, is that they know a lot about how to play most of the cast. So what I thought would be amazingly hilarious, but also epic, was to have them random select both their 2/3 matches.
The final match was a random selected Balrog w/ Ultra1, and Mark with Sagat ultra1. Mark is in his final slivers of life, and the Balrog player was turtling it out. Both characters at full screen, the Balrog player decides to try and go for chip damage, and does a LP rush punch for the meter/chip. He succeeds in one of them, and after the animation was complete, he’d back himself back into the corner again. Mark continues to pressure with tiger shots, surely not giving the final deciding match away, but the Balrog player continued to jump over them, or head butt through them.
As the Balrog player grew anxious, he decided to try and chip Mark off with another LP dash punch, after a dodged tiger shot. The Rog player charges his down back, and readies his anticipation for the next tiger shot, and EX dash punch through it, but Mark fakes the tiger shot, and just throws out a normal, at the same time, the Rog player accidentally does a HP head butt from full screen. Mark quickly inputs his ultra1 motion from FULL SCREEN, and catches the Rog with the tail end of the Ultra1, and depletes all 35% of his remaining life for the win.
