Is it me, or is it like I cant use any SS4 stategies in this game. Fck, I cant even get pass a 6 hit combo, timing is to fast, and I do better mashing buttons. where is the spacing, playing footsies, and non air blocks. Damn, learning curve is hard. On a side note, I would button mash all day. I can be training dummy!
Bah where is the charge charecters? I imagine balrog in a mvc3 fighting engine would be Raging Bull All Day! Raging Bull, DashPunch, Raging Bull, OverHead SLam, Light Kick, Head Butt, Raging Bull, to some fireball balrog probably would of had if He was put in the game!

i think it will be interesting to see the numbers for evo this year though.
Online play for mvc2 was an exception. Most fighting games normally come with shitty online. Not everyone suffers though, online works great in Japan as can be seen by Mago and co. who’ve played thousands of matches online before AE was released.
I don’t think SFIV is dying in our islands to say the least, but MvC3 is gonna steal it’s thunder for a while. At least with the people I play with…

I been holding daily sessions for new players and old players at a shop i opened for this exact purpose. we have 4 set ups and if there is demand i will put up more. we also have classic systems lol. we have a MVC3 tourney this friday night at 8pm we open the shop at 5pm. its located at 1391 kapiolani blvd, right outside of ala moana it used to be called The vault.
store hours are Monday - Thursday 4pm - 10pm Friday 5pm-12am and saturday 2pm-12am
its $2 all day to play for league members, which most of you are, or $5 all day for non league members and membership is still $20 lifetime. We have a few TE sticks to use and a couple SE sticks we just repaired. if you have any questions you can call me just pm me and ill give you my new number. i look forward to seeing some old faces.

I wonder where’s the next closest tourney venue will be at now? Currently playing on PS3 for the time being. As for button layout, my brothers & I are using custom layout.

I want to thank everyone who came out last night and good stuff from DJB-13, Erikbuild, and PureElite. Next tournament is Friday March 4th, 2011 at 8pm.
Issues that will be fixed, we will have box fans to circulate the cold air and keep the heat at bay, more stations for casual and more space for people, a shoe rack to help with the space, and we are upgrading our bandwidth so the stream wont go down.
I hope you all enjoyed your experience and will see you more often at HVGL HQ for casuals!!
i say, have more tourney stations, more fans, maybe an extra helper to run the brackets (paper bracket as a backup?) … at least everyone remembered their deodorant this time lol but yea, the heat mixed with waiting made taking the L to go outside seem ok haha… shoutouts to erikbuild and pureElite…
