hahaha… damn run that shit, pyt vs kakkarotte for money next Houston tournament or something.
When I asked to use that stick and you said it’s fine I was like Thank God, lol. The stick with the Cammy artwork was quite possibly the worst stick I’ve ever used in my life. I was ready to cut some deals on who got to use what. Both sticks were bad regardless but yeah horrible stick plus playing on a laggy CRT… couldn’t believe I managed to even get any combos off period.
Thought I saw somewhere that there was a guaranteed $100 plus donations on the side tournaments, not that they’d double up what was donated. Ended up staying there for around 8 hours for pretty much nothing. Knew I shoulda stayed home. Oh well, good games regardless.

I disagree with you jake. You shouldn’t have stayed home =] It was some good games and most def willing to run some back at test your skills whenever you get the time. Try and bring toan/jacob and the rest of dallas with you. I have some rude awakening waiting for the both of them. Also, The Chief santhrax was solid. I couldnt believe I beat him like that and he was using pyts stick to. He was wooping peoples ass for fray. I would like some mms and runbacks with dallas asap! I want to keep leveling up…

Oh, really? I found both of them to be good built sticks… those are the kind I’m use to (much like the mas stick) On the East Coast, most of the arcades there used the happ sticks/buttons these sticks used. Maybe you aren’t used to happ parts? Sorry you couldn’t adapt to them… what I always say is, ‘user operator’… if one person can pull off fly/unfly combos consistently on those sticks, then it isn’t the stick.

I’d like to apologize to all of our competitors and streamers for Saturday. Problem after problem piled on with both the tournaments and the stream. I cannot and will not blame anyone else for any mishap that happened. Even if myself or Wolfwood didn’t mess up, it was our event so we are responsible and I’m sure he feels the same way. Things fall apart sometimes and you have to do your best to put them back together. We did just that with the help of the players and we can only hope that folks understand.
I have to thank RaphStryker though for putting in work for us when we can hope to give him nothing in return. He showed up to the event, setup and started helping without even needing to be asked. Also, Banana Ken and Winchester were a huge help reforming the brackets (Winchester even helped do a bit of Tekken) as were a handful of the other players. Thank all of you guys. Finally, the Quakecon staff was utterly fantastic the entire time we were there. They want us back next year and will even back up the brackets lol
edit: also, Mister Cox, McClusky and Nori drove out and competed as well as helped run the brackets. Big thanks to them as well can’t believe I forgot you guys 
Lol All good with me. Ill ask jan if he wants to host it at midnight comics cause monsters doesnt have crt’s or the marvel cabinet yet and I know pyt wont come just for a 40$ money match. It will have to be a tourney + money match cause theres more players for potential money matches depending on how everybodys ego is that day. Again, Im down to get this up once pyt can get me a confirmation. Ill speak to jan about this asap!

Hadouken is very solid, and i will definitely money match him. Honestly, im disappointed that we didnt get to play. I enjoy MMs, especially with solid players…but dont YOU ever tell me how much IM playing for. Me and Hadouken are grown men and can set up our own MMs.
