No akuma can’t, but his super is inescapable at extreme close range. Just a dream… hope Otoko Michi at least takes half a life bar though then.
“Extreme close range” being the “throw range” of the Raging Demon if he hasn’t managed to put you in some kind of stun (which is practically impossible). MvC2 Otoko Michi takes 60-70% methinks as well as all but 1HP away from Dan XD

If Evil Ryu has the Satsui no Hadou (Hadou of Murderous Intent) then would Evil Dan have the Satsui no Saikyo? :tup:
All I know is that if there is an Evil Dan in SSF4, he should further make fun of SNK by speaking horribly broken English. I would kill to hear him say things like “WHAT A TOUGH” and “BURNING FIGHTILLY FIST”.
Additionally, his taunts should be as obnoxious as a morning radio talk show. Taunts should be accompanied with sound effects like slide whistles, cow moos, belches, etc.

Who knows… I thought Dan was supposed to have more vitality and/or defense than other characters, but it’s much like Street Fighter 2 in that a match can be over near instantly.
Man, I just caught Sanford Kelly rolling out Dan against Yeb’s Gen on the Barfights stream. It was epic. He was making good use of the LK Knee strings and busting out the Koryuken FADC Neutral Jumping MPs all over the place.
They should be putting vids up soon. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long.

Dan has 1050 health methinks, little bit more than Ryu/Ken. Wish he had more though, in Sakura Ganbaru Ken comments on how he’s S Class at taking beats or something like that

This is very General but I didn’t know where to post about it because it was so sweet.
I was fighting a Ken online and had Taunt # 9 picked. He tried to jump in on me and a Dped him, ran over to his body and taunted. At the same time he woke up with a cr.HK that I hopped over with my taunt. I was directly next to him and just slapped my butt right over his sweep. Didn’t capitalize on it because I was too busy saying “Oh SHit” Even my GF that watches me play was like “ooo Damn”! That junk is pure Saikyoness.
So yea, not really useful or practical, but Taunt #9 can jump over low attacks.
I heart you so much right now. Best find ever.
Edit: I couldn’t replicate it with #9, the distance and timing must be strict. But I sailed clear over sweeps with Taunt #3, where he does that hovering arm pump.
It was propably the most lucky timing ever then.
If only Dan could cancel Taunt #3 before he landed back on the ground after the hop.
I wish Taunt 4 did damage, like Sak’s A2 taunt.

I was pondering over Dan’s frame data and how all his jabs and shorts are 4 frame start-ups with +2 on hit but the far versions are +3 on hit. If they were 3 frame start-ups (like pretty much everyone else) then we’d have a 1-frame link off jabbing that could cancel into a Kouryuken, think about that :tup:
c.LP x2 xx s.LP > s.LP xx Kouryuken, how sexy would that be?

MP Dankuu? There’s no Dankuu with a punch button Only Dankuu that would combo off a jab and from that distance would be EX and there’s no real point in confirming into that anyways, just do it blindly, doesn’t matter if it’s blocked
