I figured I’d get my say in, though I doubt it will have any weight. I would love to have a steady tournament for VF, I get one every few months sadly. The unfortunate truth is that most of us who are dedicated to VF in the area always happened to be busy on the weekends that the tournaments were hosted. I’d especially like to have a tournament seeing as I’m going to be going off to school soon and I doubt I’ll have much of an opportunity to travel much afterwards.
I can’t speak for everyone in the crew, I know they sometimes vocally express interest, but it just so happens that someone is always visiting family, or some other unavoidable engagement when it’s time to get it on.
Yeah real life is a pain. It didn’t help that the tourney didn’t happen until Sunday. Even then…only 5 people is sad. Like…even Marvel sometimes has a couple more than 5 people for casuals. I would like to see us be able to get another at least fair sized VF5 tourney going but I’m not necessarily going to be looking forward to it anymore after that. I would be afraid of being hurt by another abysmal turnout that’s not even worth throwing a tourney for. Especially for a game that hasn’t even been out on the 360 for a year. If ya’ll wanna come…definitely do come. Otherwise I’ll just hit ya’ll online. :lol:
If there is some outside event going on that will have a decent turnout in the area…I might try to stop by but I’m definitely not expecting much at C3 anymore.

If you guys wanna bring TVs and 360s, feel free, but I’m not putting together another VF event.

I haven’t consulted anyone, but I think from the lack of any response at all it seems like the crew has passed on c3. I wouldn’t take my word as law, but thats the way it feels. I wouldn’t mind showing up and having a few casuals at the very least. Know the place is already busy with smash and every other game, so I’m not gonna press for a tournament. I don’t mind showing up for VF casuals cause I wanna see some 3s action…Elena’s been looking interesting to me…don’t ask why…

Seriously…the C3’s right before Evo are usually pretty lax any ways. Everyone knows who regularly comes and some of the people that come don’t even post. I’ll definitely be there though. Need that practice before Evo.
