Guys offering 360’s - remember it’s a PS3 tourney, you can’t have a tourney on both consoles. You can run one game on one, and another different game on another but having 3 or 4 360’s just for a side tourney is pretty bad 
People should bring recording devices too!

Here’s an update we have a little entries for this tournament. We are going to have to knock out HDR because of what we have for registration. If anything and I truly hope that the day of people will want to throw down for it.
Although the sponsors are the ones who are running this I myself have put in my own money for Street Fighter IV. The reason being I want you guys to have the experience reach for that goal of winning. I haven’t spoken to the other sponsors but I highly doubt they’ll put up $200 for winning ST4. I’ve been pulling lots of strings and came close to not even been able to pull this grand prize off.
I was wonder if it’s ok if that I join the tournament myself. I didn’t really want to because I would be controlling everything. I do have judges to keep things in hand, and if you guys are willing to help out that will be great.
Again, I don’t do the UFC entries. I could care less but we’ll see how it goes. Hopefully they’re pull will help us out. Money wise.
Do you guys it’ll be ok if I join. I’m not sponsor but I did put in money own my so you guys can get what you deserve. Prize wise.

Ok here’s one problem. We only have like 2 entries for HDR. I’m not sure if we can put that together. If we have more then we can stick it in. Otherwise people are dumb/scrubs and don’t appreciate it. We may have to cank that toureny.

Our family and friends said they will be in on it but we haven’t had pre-registrations. Meaning and hopefully they get the door price. These guys are idiots and won’t pre-register so we’ll have the turnout. Mostly spectators will be there.
I can assure you that Street Fighter will be on the top of the list regardless what anyone else thinks.
Tru - I have no problem with you entering the tournies. Bracket runners are in tournaments all the time, and there is rarely a point where you can have conflict of interest just because you are the one running/sponsoring the tournament, and being a participant so don’t sweat being part of the brackets.
It’s too bad HDR hasn’t had more interest, but it’s not something we can hold against you. It’s the first time a tourney like this has been run in des moines, and we’ve already asked a lot by having you get Blazblue in there as well.
Speaking of which, how are the entries for BB looking? Are we getting some people interested or do we need to lower the price on the entry fee to 5 dollars regardless of pre-reg or day at the door.
Also on further review I’m realizing bringing the 360 to help run blazblue doesn’t help much since there will be almost no one bringing 360 pads/sticks to the event. I’m hoping to get tournament bracket software on my laptop and just run BB that way to make it nice and simple and avoid anyone complaining about brackets (doubtful), by utilizing it’s random seeding option.
Keep us updated this week. We’ll make adjustments as necessary but i think this will be a success especially considering the lack of tournaments in des moines. We’ll show some people what real fighters are like in this town.

Damn shame no HDR but eh you do what you gotta do, I was just trying to push that in for myself. If we have time and are able to just play on the side after we’ll see.
More clarification for me, it’s probably already in here but its monday and im tired.
How are you planning to have blazblue run tru? do you want people bringing 360’s and tv’s just to run it? I think a couple systems and tv’s would be plenty to get BB run in ample time. 2 setups means 2 games at a time, and if we get say 20 entries, i could probably knock out that tourney in under 2 hours as long as people are paying attention when I call their matches.
Basically let me know what you are thinking and how you want this to go down, I don’t want to step on anybody’s toes since it’s not my tournament, but i’m willing to bring extra equipment to help a game like BB run smooth since it wasn’t originally part of the tourney plan.
Klaige: Here’s the thing, we have the facility 11-8pm and checking up on the roster on what I got we’re find with what we have honestly I would like to see it on one set so people can watch. It will be entertainment for future competitors.
We haven’t receive soooo much registration and I’m hoping people will show up day of. I have plenty of friends[scrubs] who think they would dominate. I’m looking forward for you guys to be on top of the list.

Thank you for your concern. I don’t mean to be short but either tonight or tomorrow I will list rosters for what games. It’s really hard when people say they will join but don’t follow instructions. I will give you all the list of who’s in what for our tournament.
I myself and disappointed that we don’t have HDR but I’m speaking with one of the promotors to see if we can do some certain fun thing and whoever wins gets a ribbon[haha]

Oh! On another note. I was wondering if you guys would be interested in joining us on Friday 31st and 21 Sake. Just for a meet and great. I’m not sure if I mentioned this but you guys think it’ll be okay if I joined in on the fun? This is due to our roster. I’m thinking they’ll be more when we get people day of… I just want more people to be competing. The sponsors have given me lots of work for this event and It would be great to play against other Iowans that play this game.
Considering how much time and money you’re putting into this, it’d be nothing short of a moral sin for us to not let you enter. Besides, we’re ALL there to have fun, not just some of us.
I vote BB be winner-take-all. It’ll be soooooooooooooo much more interesting that way! (i.e. I’ll actually TRY to win rather than make top 3 and just not care anymore a la last joker tourney.

I had all intention of coming to this tourney, until I realised that it was on Sunday, and not Saturday, this is end of our Anniversary sale at Nordstrom, and I am forced to work that day. Heres hoping for next time!
