Hey guys, a little update. Someone keep saying I am not responsive to posts when I posted a week ago.
I am trying to get more people INTERESTED but it doesn’t seem like anyone is talking about it much.
Here is where we stand so far. I’m appointing two people to the SF4 team that qualfied from the 90 man Orlando tournament that just happened because I am pretty sure they are going to EVO. I have not spoken to either of them about being on the team, so I am not even sure if they are completely interested, but here are the teams so far:

Jason Wilson (E. Honda)
Trent Van Deven (assuming Balrog or Zangief)
Peter Susini (assuming C. Viper)

The last two spots will be QUALIFIERS on Friday at a PS3 station at EVO that we will find/kick some one off, etc.

Juan Camargo (Final Round Qualifier)
Mavrick (Final Round Qualifier, and new Captain)
NothingXS (I am appointing him my replacement since I am not going to be playing this game at any tournament this year, including this exhibition)

These last two spots will be decided by Mavrick. I would recommend Steve Tren from KY if he is going to be going to EVO to make is easier since he is skilled and I am sure there will be few people playing STHD for qualifiers at EVO in the SE region.
There is a possibility I will NOT be at EVO this year because as some of you know I am going to be in Miami possibly for the opening of the new FINAL ROUND Arcade there, and it may coincide with EVO, as well as the 2nd arcade we might open in Tennessee…I will know if I am going 2-3 days after MWC ends, but I will keep up with this posting. If anyone has any more questions, please post them on the thread or PM me.
Qualifiers WILL be done at EVO for SF4, but Mavrick can decide what to do about the 5 on 5 SFHD because I will not be entering that.
Mr Wilson, I can tell you for a fact the both Ronnie and AD (who both got 3rd and 4th place in the orlando tourney) are going to evo since we’re all going together (no homo in case)
P.S. on Second thought I would like to be on the HDR team, but my main is Bison and i’m not sure if thats who mavrick is using.
Isaac, in order for it to be fair, they will have to play for the spots at EVO. Alex wants to play on the team too I am sure, so it’s not logical to just pick more people, have to give some people a chance.

If I had known we were gonna base it off my tournament this past weekend, I wouldn’t of messed around playing AD and lost to get 5th place lol.Kinda hard to run a 90 man tournament almost all by yourself and be able to focus at the same time playing. However on an honest note I can vouch for his Sagat and suggest me and him for the last 2 spots. I am for sure going to EVO 100%.
AD: There’s just so much going on that would cause me not to be able to go that weekend…as of right now, I am still going…
As far as the HDR thing goes, that’s just a “side” tournament, it’s not on the big screen or sanctioned anymore or anything.

I have to run huge tournaments all the time. I think those are the only tournaments I enter these days, and even then sometimes I choose not to enter, LOL.

Well, had the rest of us known that there was gonna be a tournament to decide who would be on the team, then we might have shown up for it. As it stands, simply saying “ROFL Florida and DreamTR only team” is a flat out horrible idea. There are other states in the SE, and if you don’t think we can play this shitty game in NC, then I promise you that you’re in for a surprise.
I think everyone needs to just relax because this shit aint that serious if you guys would of shown up just for the spot alone but not for the 100 people that prereged then your sad IMO
Being on this team isnt a free pass to becoming a top player or anything I dont know why people are so worked up over this
Frank The Tank: There are two open spots at EVO for this. It doesn’t matter if the tournament was announced for qualifiers or not, you have to actually BE at EVO for the last two spots, and they are earnable.
Trent qualified for GameStop and has won all his tourneys sans maybe 1 in Orlando. He was getting a spot regardless. I don’t talk to him. GooglemyName told me he was going, so that’s how I have this information.
Flash has placed 2nd at his tourneys in Florida (there have been other tournaments he has entered) And he did this with large numbers of entrants.
The whole point of the thread was to find out WHO was going, and you know what? It seems only Florida players were responding in the first place. I haven’t heard from anyone in NC/SC/GA even GOING to EVO that wants to try and be on this team, so there’s really no point for any drama. Simple answer: If you are going to EVO, qualify at the tournament being thrown there for the team. I am pretty sure for 2 spots we won’t have more than 10 people anyway!

Yeah since this is for no money, its just a show case event, FL players are riding deep to EVO, hell no body going to cheer for u if they don’t know u, even if ur good

Problem is with other states, no ones cares, if ur from NC/SC/ or whatever, personally I wouldn’t be hype at all and what we need is the crowd with us, since we’re considered last place
