Or you could just beat those guys, since gill isn’t a free win and only total scrubs pick him online.
I trolled a room with my pink sean. Owned all the scrubs then leave, rebalance this scrubs.
On another note, when the hell is the patch coming out. I almost raged on Chun b/c you couldn’t see shit coming. I hear the annoucer say KO and I see Chun getting hit stunned. Split second later I am getting Supered without seeing start up frame…
you cant handle the yomi
That happened to me yesterday, but it was with a Sean player. I did a dive kick and I heard it connect. Right after this, the announcer says KO. I thought I had won but right after I eat Seans fireball super… weird.
The only piece of hate mail that I’ve gotten (if you can call it that) is some guy calling me a scrub because I was poking with Chun Li.
Got a request from someone to challenge in Super 4, cause he looked at my trophy data. His message was in Korean.
??? :wtf:
It wasn’t raging but I was playing against a ryu that spammed hadouken 90% of the match, parried them all. we were both like lolwtf.
with a name like yungxxxxxxgunna he’s gotta be bla-------suburban white
I’ll bet you he’s a skinhead Asian with a tank top and some type of tiger tattoo on his forearm.
i’m asian srk please dont hate me for racism!
I replied on PSN, but I don’t know if you saw it. Check the urien board for Ramza’s TackTackHead tutorial. The inputs I use are
cr.HP (charge db) f-db+MK (charge db) > b-f+MK >db(this is just to get the down-up input the headbutt needs)>u+Punch
I get called the normal string of curses, rants, and other variations when I play… Denjin Ryu, or Stun Gun Alex(just to be a dick and make myself laugh).
yeah I saw your psn reply and I read ramzas I think this is what I use also but I seem to screw up sometimes…but it would be a hell lot easier if this game would allow me to show me my inputs…DAMN!!! YEARGH KILL!!!
Let’s take it to the urien forums, I think I have some tips.
Damnit, I keep getting kicked out! I’m not trolling or anything.Honest Engine.
I beat an Akuma (I think, I didn’t get the hatemail for about two hours) in a really close game. I end up winning with a Makoto SAII from the other side of the screen. I was intending to fireball punish, but I might have been late. The guy disconnects after the game, so I don’t get the win counted (or at least didn’t get any rank XP for it).
I send him a message to the effect of ‘And I thought we were having such fun…’
A couple of hours later I get a message from him. To paraphrase:
“Fix your shitty Makoto. I just forgot that SA2 hits high. Play better so you don’t mash crap when you’re playing someone better than you.”
I’m still wondering why it took two hours or so to get that reply. At least he remembered the game that much later, I still can’t quite remember what character he was playing…
I’m winning a lot more than I thought I would. O_o
No hatemail, but someone did ask me why I banned Gill in my lobby.
Not hatemail b/c we played off-line and in person.
This guy has been play SFIV for a while down here, & then he decides to pick up 3SO. “Cool” I said. Thing is, he plays Dudley in SFIV. Of course, when he sees Dudley played in 3S, the reaction is like “Oh my GOD!?!?” I think that’s cool, and I want to help him along with the game. The problem is he’s trying to play 3S Dudley the way he plays SFIV Dudley: link every normal and watch for fireballs. But it 3S, Dudley’s normals are pretty damn awesome, and he gets away with a lot of stuff when he plays against other people who just started. Jungle - style Dudley will make new players cry.
“I’m going to teach him that it’s not always good to keep pressing buttons” is what I said.
I pick Yun with GJ.
He plays Jungle - style. He eats palms from two characters away b/c he keeps pressing buttons. He keeps eating them. He get’s crazier and continues to try and catch me with ex dps and roundhouse to ex mgb without confirming. Well, GJ = 35-40%.
After a few of these rounds, instead of “What am I doing wrong?” he says “Man, I can never take this game competitively.” “Blah blah rebalance.” That surprised me coming from him b/c I didn’t think he had an attitude problem like that.
THEN, I’m like fine. I’m going to just get GJ asap and block string pressure him. “I’ll make him block” is what I said. Blocking is what he didn’t do. “Is Yun’s dive kick an overhead?” he asks.
What he said next completely baffled me . . .
I show him, and he goes “OMG, I’m DONE. That doesn’t make sense!” We try to explain that SFIV doesn’t make sense b/c in every game before SFIV, all jumping actions are overheads. The situation didn’t get any better from a bystander saying “SFIV spoiled you.” Then it goes on tangent complaining and getting heated over dumb shit like arguing over who is and who isn’t a “shoto.”
And there goes my effort on introducing another player to the world of 3S. He’d rather stay in SFIV. (sigh) You can’t save them all.
P.S. He tried to play again later while I was playing as Makoto. He didn’t like facing someone with equally good normals. He stopped playing again. I guess I’ll just leave him be when he’s “styling” on other new 3S players.
Styling, hahahahahahahaha. YESSSS.
That’s a great story. I feel for ya man, I have my own friends who are giving me just as much trouble. I’ll never understand why people have such a hard time accepting loss. I love the part where instead of thinking he could be doing something wrong he thinks the game is imbalanced.
