N - The Twelve Unblockable WILL be found![/QUOTE
I think I saw Chikyuu do an unblockable with 12 with that ibuki theory shit. He flew pretty low to the ground and did 12’s roundhouse in the middle of the opponents body and when he landed he immedietly did sa1!!! But he landed on the opposite side. I think he did the fireball motion to the right and pressed roundhouse while flying, then did a fireball motion to the left to make the super come out.
Had to be the way he did it cause it comboed.
Also I’ve been thinking what would happen if you do the Tokido unblockable where u cancel the 1st hit of the elbow into strong aegis right but instead, you do ex fireball aegis from the 1st hit off the elbow. follow me.
true karate: you have to understand that two hits have to hit together, both from each side… what Chikyuu did was just some ambiguous sp? crossup where you dont know which side you land on, Like Ken: super, dash forward, walk back/forward a bit and then jump, crossup OR you land right next to them…
Ok, I got a question, this might be dumb, but Idk.
Is it possible to do an air down+fp (Body slam) cross-up with Hugo, then when you land, the exact frame that the opponent gets out of block stun from the air down+fp, do Gigaz Breaker? I don’t think it’ll work, but I don’t know. If you don’t think it would, I’d like to hear your reasoning
Shekeib, that actually totally works, but ONLY if the opponent was crouching when you start the super. I’ve seen Hayao do it a few times.
Crossup splash, wait a sec for blockstun, then if they’re crouching bust the Gigas. They won’t have enough time to move from crouching to jumping and they’ll get sucked right in. The hardest part is having the reflexes to super or not based on if you can see the crouch.
I think you should take Yang’s Seiei-Enbu “unblockable” down, it’s not really unblockable, its just that some people don’t know how to block it. Mixing up after the dive kick doesn’t make it unblockable, it makes it a mix-up.
Also, does anyone know how I could test these unblockables? I remember I was trying some unblockables, and I turned the CPU’s blocking to block all. (This was on Ps2 btw). Then I tried Urien’s bootleg unblockable, since that one’s easiest to pull off IMO, and they blocked it. So I figured “Okay, so the computer isn’t holding back on it’s virtual joystick, it’s just blocking everything, because that’s what I told it to do.” So then I turned it on auto block, which would normally just block moves to show that they don’t combo. But the unblockable didn’t work on it either. =/ So can you test unblockables on the CPU, or does it need to be a human?
Oh yeah Thongboy I think I might have found you an unblockable…with Sean.

Anyways, mash for all the hits, then dash forward IMMEDIATELY when you land, throw a ball IMMEDIATELY after the dash animation ends, then IMMEDIATELY after you throw the ball do a MP roll. You will land behind them and the ball will hit from the front! I usually do RK to whatever after that. I was thinking if you have 2 supers that is a damn near death combo for Chun or Urien. Like you do the first SA II, unblockable setup, FP, Jab DP cancelled to SA II again, then another unblockable setup, FP, jab DP.
Since Gigas will grab you if you don’t jump before the flash, what difference does it make if they were crouching or not? If they’re not holding up, they gonna get grabbed regardless.
Its as close a confirmation for gigas your gonna get due to you can’t instantly jump from crouching it makes you stand first so it takes a frame longer to jump.
I’m sure you get asked this a lot Thongboy, but when are you going to release a Tutorial Video for Urien? If you have released it then my bad, and keeping in mind I’m lazy (sorry) can you post a link of where to download it? I ove your work with the Twelve Tutorial, and 3S basics tutorial. I have told so many players online to get the basics video when they say that they want to get better at 3S. Thanks for being such a great contributor to the scene.
I need a new video editing machine. The official word is that the company I work for is supposed to buy one like NAO, but it’s taking forever. I’m really thinking I should just quit my job and make videos, I’m that crazy, but if they buy the machine in a timely fashion it won’t come to that right away.
I hope to make a Urien video within the next few releases, it’s definitely something I’ve had in mind for a while now and I’ve got a hefty amount of info to include. Haha, Urien used to be my favourite character, so the video would of course be of epic proportions.
Thanks a lot for the comments, I’ll try my damnedest to live up to the hype.
It’d only be fitting to have a video of epic proportions for Urien. Even if over half the content was completely redundant and/or obscure. Urien is one of the few characters were you could get away with showing every possible combo EVER, plus all the little nitty gritty setups, traps, tricks, and even shenanigans!
And I stand by what I said previously – don’t quit your job unless you had a guaranteed spot back. Because then it’d basically be like a vacation, only you get to choose when it ends.
PS. I don’t think you have to remind anyone that you’re crazy. We know.
Just to add to what was aid above, I concur with the advise given about quitting one’s job before having something else lined up. I wish I was as good following the advise, as giving it, but that is a different conversation altogether. Well if you end up quitting ahead of time, I’m working on a project that requires a person of your expertise, and there might be a financial reward for it too. However, for fuck’s sake do not quit your job, and tell me you want to work with me! LOL I would cut off my left testicle if you were in a bad situation because I spoke too soon of a project that is not even off the ground yet!! LOL
BTW, you need not try hard to live up to any expectations. I feel that you have already gone past that point of proving yourself, and your contributions won’t take long to elevate you to the status of legendary. (no kissing ass, just being honest) For instance: I kid you not, I learned a lot from just watching your 3S basics video, and it was shit I thought I knew already!!
Ha, well, it’s more just moving to a less stressful and/or creativity-intensive job, so I have more juice left over for video making. I currently write for Tips & Tricks magazine (go buy it!), and I put a lot of time and effort into making my guides really solid, just like with the videos. There’s also a multitude of other projects I’m in the middle of for developing new concepts and whatnot, so by the end of the day I’m really drained and even when I have a few spare moments I just end up sleeping or drinking or something. Haha, when I used to hate my job it was a lot easier, 'cause I would just make videos instead of working.
I feel like I would have a lot more energy for making videos and things if I didn’t have to be involved with all this nonsense, but then again there’s some stuff I’m working on professionally that I think everyone will really like too. The new plan is that hopefully if I sell out right now I’ll get to make better SF videos in the future, haha.
This is getting way too bloggy, so in closing I’ll just say again thanks a lot, and if they don’t send me a damn editing machine within the next TWO MONTHS I’m leaving to just make videos on my own.
I didn’t see it listed in the thread but I think you missed an oro unblockable.
It’s s.mp (1-hit) x qcf+MK twice then s.mp (1-hit) canceled into SAII(the punch used depends on the character). Then you dash (again amount of dashes also character specific), and jump and do cross-up mk. Then you can do chicken combo and end it with the unblockable until you run out of meter.
Poor Geese…thank god it’s not the original Geese.
I love this thread, it makes tons of sense, with the unblockables and all. It’s the truth, it’s not cheating or anything. It takes alot of hard work like Thongboy said.
Maybe if this was a thread about how to chain the blonde boy combo’s, then yeah it’s not hard work at all, but ladies and gentleman this is Urien, totally different style.
