I wish this the best of luck, hopefully we get some recognition on some new school players to show that the game keeps getting new people.

Showing the same people we have been seeing for years might get old, especially considering 80% of the people we have seen for years barely play anymore.

Please don’t make it a Cali v NY thing.

Seriously though, my main complaints with console are that they are not arcade perfect and the controls move around/are not at the right height. Since they made it arcade perfect, that is definitely great move in the right direction…the control setups I’ll just have to live with.

P.S. Me, Ryan, and Vinny should definitely be in it.

thats great that pyros interested since hes been #1 in america for like a decade lol.

this event could be awesome. it could also turn into a waste of a great opportunity if there are not the right players involved.

i nominate ryan/renic/gootecks/vinny/pyrolee , if you want this event to be a success please pick the right players not daigo/tokido/wong . And rockefeller needs to come back and do commentary .And chris g was looking beastly at CEO , so his name should be thrown in too .

I apologize if I missed you, simply don’t know you or of you, but if you’ve been holding it down and grinding your ass off for this game while everybody was sleepin’ on it, I believe you deserve a spot to play some of the great players in America. I still don’t understand why this is invitational, if its played on 3soe, there’s no reason for it. I understand that the last few years have had its share of random results due to console (Single Elim) cough (ie: Sanchez/Mikez/Jr getting top 8 over denjin cats who would scrape them on cab) but that was ps2 on little ass tv’s sitting on the floor. We best be gettin’ that 24" Asus monitor and chairs bro, not them tall ass chairs where the stick is leaning down, the right size where that shits just right in the middle. All kidding aside, there’s some great players out there that don’t have the exposure and would love to see some new faces, especially if they’ve been trying to get better, I find it admirable, seeing how 3s doesn’t have a tournament scene, we’re all just trying to get better because we love the game and want to improve individually, not to win some fucking money or a sponsorship… not saying I’m not down for money… damn I need to sleep.

Capcom stated that the version of third strike that was for XBLA/PSN that was shown at E3 was being sent for submission, meaning it needs approval and might be pretty much done in terms of gameplay. If so, it would be sick if Capcom lent Evo that build if they were confident enough for it to be tournament worthy.

RX pretty much owns the Urien mirror matchup. No offense to Gootecks, but that shit would not be pretty at all.
