It’s because of the lag. When someone challenges me to a MM online, if there’s even one frame of lag, I can’t even see the god damn challenge before I’ve already been hit by it, and then it’s too late.

I’ll be competing in SF Fo’. Searching my heart to determine how much grinding I want to do in the game I’m enjoying more vs. the game with an actual tournament/big stage presence/prize money, etc.

If you bring enough Moulah maybe you can get in a game with Umehara.
Umehara will be too busy with the SF4 places like in the Salty Suite to play 3rd Strike.
Also, booking my room soon. Tempted to just get whatever crappy big King suite they have at Imperial Palace.

Nuki, Kokujin, MOV, Haitani, Momochi, Kiyomatsu all come to EVO next 2 weeks. Anyone think about any 3s events with those guys?
I can only think of couple people who care enough about 3s that might be able to pull this off.
looks like ill be arriving around 9pm on fri the 6th. staying at imperial palace with duralath and some others (pherai maybe). down to get some 3rd strike in immediately with some heavy duty drinking afterwards. lets see who can hang with the big boys when it comes to 3rd and drinking. 
as far as events go, i am not down to organize shit. im going to chill with people i rarely see and play some drunk strike.
i just dont really care too much about playing serious on console. if it was arcade…well thatd be a different story.
