3S 25th Anniversary Roll Call (Los Angeles)

any thoughts from people who played?

lag a huge factor for dropped combos and confirms and lost games or no?

I spent most of my match time waiting to hear my attack come out and waiting for them to reel back accordingly.

lol? i’m not sure how a money match will settle anything? if you win (which you would) you’re still an elitist and if i win (i wouldn’t) you’re still an elitist

I felt like there was a bit of lag with the USB port hubs. Might’ve been just me though.

‘elitist’

ok you can see a movie in theater, or on an old tv.
which do you choose to spend your limited free time on.

Does rom still play?

I wish yi would have played. Woulda been sick to see him play mester.

Ill check out the vids later. Prob looking at ugly leggy matches.

For those who wanna watch:

Starts at 2:00:00 ON THE DOT

Amir’s matches were pretty leggy.

Movie theater, but unfortunately the cinema has closed down in my area due to no one going to it, they are however showing the same film locally on a cheap projector OK so it’s not quite as good as the cinema but i’m still getting to see the film with my friends and it’s a great social experience, my friend (lets call him Jyropee) refuses to go watch the film on a projector cus it hasn’t got dolby surround sound and the picture isnt as clear, also the seats arent as comfortable and makes his bottom hurt after an hour so he says “no thanks i’m gonna stay home cus FUCK CHEAP PROJECTORS” thus missing out on the film and a good time with his friends :frowning:

Flash forward to the DVD release of said film, we decide to all get together and re watch the film on our old TV in my living room, i ring up my friend Jyropee and ask him to watch to the film with us cus he missed out on it the first time round he says “OLD TV? FUCK THAT SHIT” i try to explain that unfortunately the era of cinema has passed but we still get to enjoy the same films in a similar environment and you know what? i love films and i don’t care if it’s on a old TV or a super duper huge screen as long as i get to watch the film with other people and have a good time doing so it really doesn’t matter. Jyropee disagrees and years later dies a lonely death clutching onto a picture of the local cinema he used to frequent

:frowning:

A pic we took on sunday:

chi-rithy, me, neiman, duraleth, haoism

Man, Duraleth looks older than Valle. He could pass off as Gootecks’ dad.

Sorry.

I realised how laggy it was, when people dropped the link after target combo xx gj. It was super nice to see Amir vs Pyro tho, made me feel like I was at home with all of my best buddies (nohomo). I’m not happy with chirithy being in the gf

Why? Chi-Rithy is really good.

Truth be told, I wasn’t even aware Chi-Rithy played 3S until the New York qualifier

Had a blast at LA, it was my first experience at a major (pseudo-major), and seeing all these big names in person made me feel like i was in a room full of celebrities. Didnt do as well as i had hoped, but getting to meet everyone was well worth the price of admission. In regards to the setup, a large number of people including myself found it hard to work with. Thanks to all the people i had the pleasure of playing / chatting with, you guys are the best.

Fun fact: Amir is probably the nicest human being on earth

^
Kept thinking of the BW player whenever I heard your name. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one.

Yun is like a bw protoss zealot, without upgrades they’re not so bad, dangerous but not too scary, and then they get speed upgrades (genei-jin) and everything goes to shit

Lol, it’s totally true. All those late nights of drinking, man. Works to my advantage, though; I don’t get carded anymore.

Duralath, you are an incredibly handsome individual. Don’t let others bring you down. I would choose you to protect me if I was walking home at night by myself.

No homo.
