For those of you who missed last weeks 3S tournament, we’ll be hosting another one next Friday April 27! Mark your calendars and stay tuned. Hopefully there is enough time for everyone to prepare - This is last minute news for me too. Fortunately, we have a solid week ahead of us.
My coworker plans to speak to our boss about borrowing some Astro cabinets so that we can have Japanese and American head to head set up. Nothing is confirmed yet, but we listened to your likes and dislikes of our first event so we’re doing our best to make appropriate changes.

Hi all, just wanted to give another update. Sorry I’ve been quiet most of the week, we’ve been busy organizing things on our end. (In all honesty, I’m not in charge of anything, I’m just a messenger, so thank you all for being patient with us) The upcoming third strike tournament for** Friday April 27, 2012** will be held in the same plaza as before:
Sign-ups start from 7:00 to 8:30 and the games will begin around 9PM. We will adopt Watson’s tweet-in name entry, because we do not have an in-house phone. If for some reason you’re running late and would like to sign up for the tournament, please mention @Japan_Arcade with the names you would like to put on the roster. When you arrive to the arcade, please see an attendant to follow up with confirmation and entry fee.
I spoke over the phone with Dae about having Japanese head to head setups for our venue, but he said that it may not happen this time. The tournament will most likely be played on the American head to heads from the looks of it. I apologize for the inconvenience, but ultimately that decision is up to our Boss, because he’s moving the boards and cabinets from one location to the next.
My coworker said that he plans to record this tournament and will give the footage to JR. (I’m not in control of that, so if you are curious about it please address your questions to them.) Humongous thank you to JR and others for posting and sharing the videos, so keep an eye out for the YouTube releases (via pikachuakuma).

also on the way home I was reminded that FFA switches out the 3s japanese cab for VS on sundays so I dunno if sunday is a good night to go. Unless an FFA rep can confirm there will be jap cab 3s (cough DAEZO cough) maybe sometime during the week??

Apologies for my absence, I know it’s been awhile. Just wanted to let you know our next tournament will be Friday, June 8. Sign ups @ 8PM and our entry fee of $5. The last gathering was okay, but I think some players did not show up due to the release of D3 that same week. We would like to see the attendance improve with our next event, we hope to see you there!
