No one has the guts to play hugo in these tourneys, so he is pretty hard to guage.
Y isn’t Dudley considered top tier? He’s fast, can do a decent amount of damage. Same with Yang.

well the last tourney I attended I got 3rd with hugo
riot: he’s like 4th or fifth, its because he cant handle the big three, wel maybe yun, but thats coz yun takes big damage
Yang doesn’t have the combo possibilities that Yun has. You can’t combo into Yang’s SA3 like you can Yun’s.
Phew, I started to read through the tier list, when I saw where Akuma was, I was gonna start raging like Demon. Man, Akuma is proly the second most effect Mind Game master. Anyone who likes to gamble will probably put Akuma in the top 5 of there list. If you’re a conservative or a turtler, he’ll be less than that. Ultimate rush down/mind control is

Yun takes too much damage, but gives it equally (w/out Turtling)The master at juggling (period).
Ken is all around quickness (good when used on the fly w/out strategy)
Chun is speed and chip at its best (wide assortment of moves to keep opponents guessing, but many hardly use all)
Akuma might as well be considered Gill in alot of ways, except that he’s too weak and takes damage like a pusy. Max SA bar is a mind game itself with RD and Raging Storm like SA. He’s versatile. Still the rushdown king!
Urien’s Aegis reflector has forced many to quit for the day. Its demoralizing. And his reach and spead are equally matched. Plus, you can get a major rushdown started on a crouching foe using his psychotically fast b.s.mp. Its the fastest standing to crouching blow I’ve ever seen. (Where was he?)
If i could say it, these five would all be number 1 Tier. Yeah, in fact, I just said it! So there!
Yun isn’t all out rush down. once he activates Genei Jin, then he can force you into precarious situations or make you look like a turtle’s turtle, but 'til then, it isn’t always in his favor to dive kick all over the place.
the 2 definite brainwashers IMO are Ken and Chun. they zone the hell outta you. Urien throwing out Aegis like RX is also like this. friggin’headaches.
oh, and i’d also include Makoto in that “list” of rushdown/mindcontrol. she’s freaky, baby!

well dudley can handle ken…
Dudley does well against both Ken and Yun. His tough matchups are Urien (bout the same as Ken, even imo with a slight advantage to Ken and Urien), and Chun-li(Dud loses this one without some luck).
i think urien is a harder fight than ken… the reason why i say dud does good vs ken is because dud can fully utilize all his normals vs ken like in a poke war if u see ken whiff a c.mk or c.rh u can do dud’s f.fp which stuffs ken (f.fp stuff’s alot of characters in the game) with the very tip of his fist and dud’s fp does crazy damage… vs chun she can crouch the first half of duds fp which is wierd cuz the elbow and back half of dud’s fp hits chun when she’s crouching… she gets a free c.mk super if dud whiffs a fp… the only thing u can do to chun in a footsie is if she’s trying to fp you u can hit her arm if she whiffs or they will trade in your favor for damage and stun… and can f.fp chun when she b.fp’s it trades in your favor of stun etc but chun never gets a clean hit with fp’s vs dud other than that when i fight chun i dash back hit mp to build some meter then i rush in and try to land supers with c.lk’s or overhead

Jaime-not really. I’ve found ways to get around it. Parrying on the way up for one. And punishing it if it whiffs just like any other laggy normal.

yea thats but ken’s fp can be ducked and if u whiff it u get popped by dudley and ken’s s.fp is only good for dud’s s.fp, f.fp owns ken if u use it right, can’t be all predictable with it cuz its kinda slow but the hit box travels and the damage is good
how does he handle Ken pretty well? My Dudley is all about over-prioritizing and knockdown ofcourse, but Dudley doesnt have any good low pokes that outprioritize Ken’s c.mk and c.mp. I dont care about sweep coz I just duck under xx super Ken. But I hate getting a clean hit on Ken =(

Well there really isn’t one answer for kens c.mp and c.mk, most of the “answers” can be in turn countered by Ken. One of the safest ones is f+fp, but don’t whiff. Jumping is less safe, but alot more reward. Also random ssb’s work wonders, out prioritizing both those moves, and is hit confirmable to super, and if they parry when you have meter free mixup game. Gotta be random with them though because if you whiff, c.mk xx super. Chuns s.hp really isn’t that bad if you use proper spacing. Stay just outside the range and s.hk xx ex mgb her arm off. Even if you do get hit a few times in the process it’s well worth it for the positioning and damage. Inside this range, you can jump the s.fp and combo her. It’ll still punish your whiffs quite well though.
haha yea, thats the stuff I usually do, Im now busy with the jump in hp, wait, ssb, but that crucial wait is needed for them to whifftheir grab =/ and Dudley’s best thing vs Chun is his jumpin, its so low but if she does a hp shes fucked…
Another problem is Dudley vs Elena: she has one of the best set of pokes of the game, so its hard to get in, ofcrouse you can c.hk x2 her midscreen, but whos gonna let you =/
