That was Kizuna Encounter. That game is fucking awesome. It’s like SNK’s answer to XMEN VS Street Fighter.
Completely fair of your guys’ allegations. But I’m also going to agree with Ryan here. Take the trash talk out of here; our community is so negative as it is. (Which sounds weird considering my initial post was fairly negative, but it’s also to address something that needs to end).
I will say, I’m thankful for a game that has actually contributed to my personal well being and kept me out of a lot of bad stuff. Aiming to be strong in this game kept me from wild partying and overall not going anywhere in life. To note, the skills I’ve acquired through this game have permeated to my ability to read people and engage with others in business settings.
I absolutely love this game and don’t see myself giving it up anytime soon.

i’m thankful i can play this game on my computer with other people. i’m thankful for everyone who takes the time to record, edit, and/or post videos. i’m thankful for people who want to spread knowledge about this game. oh and i can’t forget, i’m thankful for everyone who has helped me improve in this game, either through conversation or through having the patience to play me.

I’d like to play more good Chun’s. I’ve only played one dude who knew how to play her. Everyone else just picks Ryu/Ken/Akuma or Yun.

i am thankful for 3s, i’m happy it is such a wonderful game, and i am thankful i get to play this game with others. the arcade i went to died in '02 and not having people to play offline let alone be interested in it was sad. that was also the year justin vs. tokido happened at evo; i was hype for it but my community was more into playing mvc2. i’ve been a resident of ggpo 3s since '07. So thankful.

it’s an inspiration for me when i’m feeling shitty about my own indie project.
i see such a cool game with so much care and creativity and it gets me pumped to dive back in and get to work.
