CF- RX is awesome. Check out Ack, Senaka, and messatsu on you tube. I like Messatsu agressive style of play the most. Watch out for Mr. Gone’s Urien.
Indy- I’ve never owned Fist mainly because it’s never seen an Amercian release and I don’t have a modded or Japanese Ps2.
I might be moving to Charlotte to work for my Uncle. Not sure yet. Hopefully, they’ve got a good SF scene there.

Alright, guys. This is a call to action: Mario, I saw your post about possibly moving to Charlotte. That’s titties, bro! However, I do have a bit of a problem with you heading out that way without all of the tools in your belt.
Here’s what I propose:
Mario & Indy, you guys need to both choose a weekend, or even just a Saturday if that’s all that can be managed, pack a sack lunch, hop in the car, and come and crash at my place. The three of us need to crack Urien wide open (no homo), and get him figured out. I have been practicing with him consistenly at least once every two days recently, and I have finally succeeded the plateau that I was trapped on for a good year or so. I know we’re all going to SLUTS, but I doubt we’ll have all that much time to just sit and practice with one another. We’ll probably need to just pick a time and place and sit down together with one TV.
If this sounds like something you guys would be interested in, please let me know. Since I know for a fact that neither of you guys has my phone number, here you go:

I, of course, would put you guys up should you decide to stay overnight. I only live with my girlfriend, but she technically has her own place, so it wouldn’t be any trouble at all. , so you wouldn’t need to bring anything. The truth is, I’m frankly just sick and damn tired to losing to nothing but Kens and Chun-Lis at every tourney that I go to – I’m sure you guys are, too. Now, realistically, that’s probably not going to change any time soon. The odds are simply not in our favor. However, if we can at least go to a tourney and out-perform said Kens and Chun-Lis, well, that’s like a victory in itself. When you’re nailing every, single complex combo that Urien has and doing so while in-game, the audience tends to acknowledge that you’re the better player. However, if you are hitting all of your combos and your execution is on point, then you’ll probably win anyway; trust me, I’ve seen it happen from behind a computer monitor AND from behind an arcade stick. I think that if we have 3 guys working on learning all of this stuff together, even if it’s only for a day, that nothing but good can come of it. :woot: Mario, even if you end up not moving, I still think this would be good for us, especially because I can guarantee that even if we’re all solid with our character, there’s still one match-up we can probably all 3 use practice with: Urien vs. Urien. lol Let me know what you guys think. Mike- Since Chickenfat is coming out this Saturday I will plan on playing at GW all day Saturday. However the weekend after I’m bout it. Be ready for some serious gaming. Also, I have a couple of unblockable setups I figured out that i’m pretty sure RX had already figured out like 5 years ago. But still they are kind of cool.
Oh and you guys will be making road trips out to play me. Ha, it’s not an option. I’m not sure what everybody is planning but I am planning on playing at gameworks most of the night. I hope noone minds playing 3s for 8hours straight because i sure don’t. Is everyone going to Derycks after GW closes?

I’ve never tried it but if it works on Ken it will work on all shotos. I’ve done variations of it.
lol I actually use that sometimes!!! I didn’t realize it was famous!!! There’s also some “ping-pong” variations to it.

Deryck, how many ps2s do you need because I got two that I can bring. I can bring the dreamcast for some super turbo action aswell.
I can bring my DC also. And I have a psx to usb adapter for emu’s. Also my x-arcade has a Eurostick and comp buttons, but only for pc.
