Just here to say SFIV is bad, SFV looks better and I should play more 3S. If some of you guys are going to NEC I’ll see you guys there.

Reminds me of a guy I played on Fightcade who discovered the program because of Maximilian. And I was just doing basic shit, no stomping, didn’t say anything to him, never taunted, never hit the credit button or anything. And the dude ragequit because he kept getting hit by Alex’s slow-ass overhead HP on his wakeup and accused me of cheating.

That’s a new guy who probably isn’t that well versed in fighting games to begin win. Not comparable to short bus riders ltg and clackman.

HK C&DB(Kuroda uses MK, but HK is easier)->MP Dash Punch->MP Dash Punch
First Dash Punch has to hit early. This also works on Necro midscreen, though timing is somewhat stricter.

MK C&DB->MP Dash Punch x2 also works on Makoto, though the timing of the first Dash Punch is even harder.

I pulled it off in training mode like once every 10 tries. That combo is so hard. But it seems really easy for a lot of people. I think the second charge is the hard part.

This is why Chun having a huge library of buttons is fun ^^

Can you do tackle tackle headbutt with urien consistently?
If so it’s really similar, you need to do the first punch really early. You can see how he lands in the dash punch.

Like with tth when you don’t get the timing right on the first one, you are boned.

You think being able to convert more damage after a poke than most of the cast is worth having low range normals? If chun li didnt have sa2 would she still be top tier?

Would Makoto be good without karakusa? Akuma without tatsu? Yun without dive kicks?

Questions like these are pointless. Don’t mean to shit on you, but when discussing the game I don’t see the point in dissecting scenarios that don’t exist.

The characters are the way they are; it’s been 15 years.

Well, why not try playing some games without that super? At least to prove it to yourself rather than hope to somehow prove it to the entire community. I’ll see about getting some matches recorded where I don’t use sa2, or karakusa, or tatsu, or dive kick.
