I’m esp liking the stained glass piece, bowie. It adds an interesting touch
one minor comment, more on the nature of stained glass than on your work… IRL you can’t actually get such deep peaks & throughs on a single piece of glass – AFAIK there’s no way to cut an area like the ones with the feathers without the glass breaking.
Just a random tidbit
I didn’t sit much on these. Did them very quick (2-3 hours). I want to achieve their overall look. I want to use them to play around with Character Studio animation. As well as cloth simulations. I’m using 3D Studio MAX ver.7. Sol’s face was imported and changed from Poser 6.
I liked Sol’s face and left a comment on Justice. I’m startin to get used to Max a little but I haven’t had much time to work on things that I started. If nothin else I’m gonna have an early start for next quarter.
I’m mostly usin ‘edit poly’ in Max. For some reason everything stays smooth lookin if I subdivide usin the ‘connect’ functions only. I haven’t added a smoothing group to anything. Anyway I had been meaning to make Kliff from Guilty Gear, but I’m gonna need some work on hair first. Your Sol’s lookin good man…
I’m learning Max now, but I have more experience with Maya. The Mech is off the hook. Recreating a match is kinda cool. I would try it as long as it’s with characters that didn’t appear in the EX games. I’d probably learn something from tryin too…
