Damn that’s really good looking. The glow is a bit bright on the left which adds kind of an eyesore contrast with the black background, but aside from that it’s really appealing. Good colors, blending, lightness, etc.
I have a question. How do I go about getting the maximum quality down to the pixel, through a host? it seems when i host my images, the quality degrades a little. I use imageshack, is there any other thats better?
cameron- nice chrono trigger sig picture, the bright background mixed with the light on the sword makes it look like hes about to do some seirous damage.
shenakuma: You might wanna try saving them as PNG’s instead of JPEG’s. I forgot where I posted that example…
Edit: I posted an example in the FREE AVATARS THREAD VOLUME I, near on the ending pages.
I don’t think hosting sites degrade the quality unless it shrinks it down to fit a certain restraint number. If anything, try tinypic.com or Photobucket [but Photobucket has restrictions. Max size is 1024x768 unless you purchase that Premium thing last I recall].
Good work on that sig [so far, as you said it’s incomplete. Looks good like it is though.].
I’m gonna work on something that I tried when I first started fuggin’ around with IMM. It’ll take a while, but I’ll throw it out here when I’m done. :woo:
I used MSPaint to draw them, side by side [as shown here]. I used the red line to line it up so everything was even, and used alot of COPY/PASTE to edit each pixel character as it progressed [huge timesaver]. Also, worked mainly in ZOOM [just the given CTRL+PAGE UP zoom percentage].
Then after I was done, I opened the file in ImageReady, erased the white background and red line, then began cutting out each one and lining them up in order.
Oh, no hand sketching by the way.
Note: I’m thinking I can just skip the MSPaint step and draw them in Photoshop/ImageReady. I’ll have to try that out next time.
