at the richmond tourney yesterday there were 13 for 3s and 11 for mvc2. if EVERYONE would’ve played mvc2 and if all the people from NC/MD/SOVA came it could’ve went up to 20.
If I’m reading this right…so you’re saying only 13 people showed up for 3S?! I thought this was supposed to be a huge event? There was like twice that many people playing 3S at last DC monthly. Hopefully the higher venue fees won’t scare off too many people at this DC monthly. It does seem that CVS2 is generally losing popularity though at the Cyberclub. Last event there was like one guy playing it on a tv in the backroom. I can’t even remember if anyone was playing with him. :lol: Sucks, cuz I actually like that game. I also completely suck at it too.

As for dday. The shit was MAD SMALL. Capcom was added last min which is why they were almost NO tv’s for 3s. Shit was just stupid. No comp but justin and some other dudes for 3s so it didnt matter who you were… you were going to lose to justin (just like any tourny)I mean shit, THERE WERE MORE PEOPLE FOR DOA4 THEN 3S!!! which is fucking horrible to say the least… better yet, pathetic.
The venue was so small i couldnt even think with out hearing someones thoughts. The next time we get a small venue im not going at all. I couldnt even breathe with out going outside at least 150 times during the whole day just so i could get some fresh air.
I did get to meet magneto m. Which was good and shit. He is going to be trained be me the grat 3s masta in 3s!!! so watch out peopel he will be there to bring the rape soon enough!!! It was great to see everyone come out there again.

Huh? GG is at Evo every year, we’ve got major tournaments every month until then as well.
Yeah, I was gonna mention that. I mean it’s held every year at ECC and Evo. Maybe there’s some other major tourneys you guys go to but…the biggest tourneys have that game every year and peepz come to represent in that game. Maybe MVC2 has a bit more of a scene but, I say give GG some time and peepz will definitely get into it. It’s just a different game so people aren’t 100 percent sure about moving over to another game yet. I mean I like the game but…I’m far from being real competitive at it yet. All in due time I guess.

I thought the Richmond tourney was supposed to be in a big room to accommodate a lot of people? What happened? Just not enough people came so they threw everyone into a smaller room? Man…am I glad I waited for next DC monthly.

Pretty disappointed overall with how I did, but matches with Justin were fun. If by good fights you mean “you didn’t get double perfected right?!?!”, then yea I did manage that. Supposedly there’s 10X as many CvS2 players than Marvel in Richmond, but CvS2 turnout was so bad couldn’t even do a tourney for it. Just watching the little back corner where 2d was shoved into was kind of sad.
