Also heads up like years past if your slick and know you can pull it off most games and items that are BF sales at Walmart will switch over to that price on Thanksgiving Thursday. I have been able to snag the games and movies i want at that price without dealing with the BF madness. Once i see the Walmart ad in the wild i’ll pass it along here for sure

I actually work at Walmart. Lol. I’m going to start acting like solid snake looking around in our back rooms for Black Friday ads so I can hook up the fam.
But yeah. BF at Walmart starts at 6pm ON thanksgiving. The difference is, at least at my store is that our Black Friday sale prices last until everything flagged as Black Friday inventory in our POS system is sold.

Let’s go! Yeah i always head over around mid day and start scanning possible purchases. If it rings up BF prices i’m Solid Snake myself out to front. I have had some cashiers look at the prices like HMM but no one has stopped me before. Saves the headache of dealing with the crowds and stuff getting sold out before hand. Also i pray for your sanity on that day its a MAD HOUSE at our local Walmarts and its no joke for sure when it comes to BF.

I’m going to go in Wednesday before thanksgiving (I always have Wednesday’s off) or first thing Thanksgiving morning and ask electronics if I can put everything BF related I want off to the side in a back room so I can buy it after I get off work.
Also, honestly my stores black Friday is super simple and not even remotely stressful.
We block off certain paths, make lanes out of cones and tape, we have every single register in the store open including someone manning every self checkout on top of people having tablets that can check people out and a manager at the end of every register aisle to make sure everyone gets in a lane, stays their lane and doesn’t act a fool.
Once people get in their lanes with their stuff or whatever the managers basically herd the customers like cattle to our registers.
It starts at 6 and dies off around 8:30. The rest of the night and actual Black Friday is just stragglers.

my only thing is I typically try to avoid Black Friday/Thanksgiving crowds where I can if I can help it. Last year was kinda cool because I was picking up Secret Santa stuff when I was in line at Best Buy, but I waited well over an hour in line to check out.

For sure. Cyber Monday was pretty good for me last year. And most dotcom stores start their cyber monday sales before thanksgiving lol

I bet I can get those controllers from Target’s BF deal for in-store pickup, then only going in store for the NSO deal. Walmart here locally is fucking bullshit for crowds, and it never fails that they have to get local PD involved at some point every year.
edit: This will probably be the first year since we moved back to this area that I’m not renewing my PS Plus either.
Best Buy has a preview sale going on right now with their Black Friday deals.
@HD-Man plenty of Samsung TVs are on that preview sale.

I think this is the first time I’ve ever made a list of stuff I want for Black Friday. I’ve either never wanted to go BF shopping, never needed to or never had enough money to be able to.
I get paid twice before Black Friday and all of my reoccurring bills have already been taken care of this month.
So this year I actually get to look at all the sales and likely get everything I want.

No. Last year my birthday fell on thanksgiving because Thanksgiving is dumb and can’t decide what day it wants to be on.
I’m sure it’s been on BF before but if it has I don’t remember

I’m disappointed there hasn’t been a place that’s offered a deal or bundle for the Switch lite.
I’m not surprised. It’s too new and too Nintendo to discount
