I didn’t get to watch the Mets/Cubs games but looks like Cubs just got outplayed from the highlights.

Syndergaard was very good, Murphy proves again to be one of the most clutch players in the sport (as he’s been for the past 3 years), Arrieta was good but got jumped on in the 1st.

Castro tried to score on a single to LF but Cespedes threw him out at home. Cubs line of thinking was - runs were at a premium and David Ross and Arrieta were due up. But it’s rather foolish to run on Cespedes’ arm. He might have the best arm in the NL.

Granderson stole 3rd which helped scored a run.

The problem with the Cubs was that they did nothing against the weak Mets BP. Niese, Reed, and Clippard went 2 1/3 and allowed only 1 base runner.
