The join limit is there to minimize the possibility of having someone sign up for SRK, immediately join Secret Santa, and then screw over the person that was assigned to them. The scumbags tend to leave SRKGD rather quickly.
yeah usually the year doesnt stay locked but 2k9 kind of began the srkpocalypse so old blood still clings onto 2k9 as the root cause of all that is wrong with everything
