Some amazing gifts this year, just one more day until i can open my gifts! Also haven’t taken off my gift yet…
So mad that my SS gift is in NJ you darn gift go up not left grr argh!
So my Secret Santa didn’t get me a single thing on my list.
Instead, he did his research and got me something WAY fucking better.
First off, dude got me the Samus Aran model by Figma. Metroid is my favorite game series, and this is the masterpiece of all Samus models in my opinion. It’s based on the Other M Samus, which is my favorite design. This will be the centerpiece of my new TV stand. So a big ass italic, bold and underlined THANK YOU to my Secret Santa.
Next up, I got a PS2 Shmup called Silpheed. My first reaction was “oh fuck yeah, a shmup I haven’t played”. Then I noticed it was by Treasure. So my next reaction was “O_O”. A shmup I’ve never heard of by my favorite shmup developer (and one of my favorite developers in general)? Well done, Secret Santa. Very well done.
Lastly he got me a $20 Nintendo eShop gift card. A fine choice. I’ve been on the fence about buying Crimson Shroud. Not the kind of RPG I’d normally play, but it’s by Yasumi Matsuno so it’s practically guaranteed to kick ass. Now I have no reason not to get it. Plus I’ll have cash left over to buy another game. Maybe Ninja Gaiden or Mega Man.

Glad you liked your stuff. I didn’t want to get random items off a list and since I know nothing about juggling or magic everything was video game related. I had wanted to get you a shirt but all the cool ones I saw were “made to order” and I didn’t want to wait weeks for a shirt that might end up looking cheap. I didn’t know if the Samus figure was a good call or not so I’ve been kinda worried that you’d hate it, lol. Merry Christmas.

Well here is the gift i got from Cryoh, really awesome stuff man…The Bayside hoodie is so comfortable, my asian wife keeps on taking it…She likes to use it while watching a movie…I might just get her one & we can do the matching Bayside duo. We already have the shirts.

My SS got me the one thing I’ve wanted for some time, Robert Greene’s latest book “Mastery”. Hard cover at that too, my others are all soft cover. I also got a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. I have all of Robert’s books which I first started reading back in 2005 up until now; including a short one that’s only available as an E-Book. This book just completed my collection of his books up to this point. Thanks Cyntalan!
It’s probably a pain in the ass to whoever gets me that I never put anything specific in my email, I should probably stop that.
