The league probably is salty with embarrassment…they’re clearly just headhunting Reed because of how recognizable he is for his position…the problem is is that Ed Reed does not have a reputation for dirty hits, and the hit in question wasn’t dirty either. Everyone saw right through it. Scapegoat in light of all the concussion lawsuits, something they could point to in court case and say “See! We’re watching carefully, we fined Ed Reed!”

Let’s be real though, Bears overall are NOT on the same level of bad as the Redskins. We’re talking about a top 3 defense having a rough night, as opposed to having to trot DEANGELO HALL out at DB every game. Skins secondary couldn’t stop an old lady from crossing the street, they are terribad, and that’s what has cost Bob Griffin more wins than anything. As for the O-lines, if you know your line can’t hold for that long, design schemes that get the ball out quickly.

EXACTLY!!! this was what was pissing me off with green bay earlier in the season, running long ass plays when you know we cant run the ball well, and our O-line is suspect since the injuries that occured last year.

Eagles, Packers, Bears have horrible O-lines. Followed by the Cowboys. Cowboys cover their Line flaws with that beautiful draw though. Best draw in football.

I’ve never heard that the play can’t be reviewed on an illegal challenge, only a 15 yard penalty. Why even have a 15 yard penalty? Forcing an incorrect call to stand is way more punishing.
